The Girls

Miss 8 and Miss 6 go to swimming lessons each week early in the evening.  The pool is just down the road, about 5 minutes from home and their school.
Sometimes my husband and I take them which is great for us for when they lived in Queensland we missed out on attending their activities.
Also I am teaching Miss 8 a bit of Ballet, just a few basics.
Interesting, for I have danced on the oldest stage in Tasmania, being a Signet in Swan Lake when I was very young.

Photos taken with my phone and the last two are zoomed in.

  2. Ahhh, how cute. Looks like they are having fun! I love to swim, but I am unable to do so in pools, due to a severe chlorine allergy.

    1. Oh that's no good for you then..the smell of chlorine is strong. Wonder how you would go drinking our water! It has chlorine, guess you wouldn't be able to drink it,...

  4. Excellent for you that your family is now local so you can enjoy those small moments such as this, which you would otherwise miss with only ocassional visits.

    1. It's wonderful that they live near now...we lap the grandchildren up whilst they are interested in us, as time will come and they won't be, maybe :)

  5. Good to see active children, hopefully they will join a swimming club for competition races etc.
Much, much healthier than being a "potato couch", sitting at a computer "playing" games.
