Great landscapes, the cloud give it an additional touch.Greetings,Filip
Nice place, lucky there were clouds that day as it was a warm one.
Very pretty Janice. That first photo reminds me of an epic drive up the western cape in South Africa. Strange how one place can remind you of another.
It is odd how that happens. I have had people say this to me before.
One beautiful lake. Can you swim there, if you wanted? What would the water temp be in the lake?
I presume you could swim there, there were not signs not to say so.Water would be cold I should imagine, but alright on a really hot day.
Such beautiful scenery.
It is nice :)
Great view and nice place for picnic
Yes it is, but a bit far from where I love to have one.
Again so spick and span looking. I guess it is a week day, as if this place is close enough to a bigger town ( Launceston or Devonport) on a weekend and especially in summer that lake would be a hive of activity - water sports and fishermen. Hopefully separated to preserve the peace.!! Water skiing and fishing don't mix do they??CheersColin
Was a week day, and I don't think that many people would go there for a picnic, but lots fishing and no water skiing as you might get topped off by a log of wood or something of that nature. The distance from home would be too far for a picnic for most people.
What bloody great photos loved them
The first photo reminds myeof the mountains where I grew up - the Warrumbungles in NSW.
Interesting :)Know the town there :) It's rather lovely in all of that area.
hi M, i really look forward to your travels around tassie. your photos just make me want to travel. one day :)
Well one day you might :)
Lovely place, clean water and wide open spaces.Merle...................
Yes, plenty of space around the dam area.
Wow what beautiful scenery. A long day though.
Thanks...we always seem to go a long way, hence a long day.
