Gifts for Christmas!

Sometimes for us it's hard to think of a personal gift for family members. Some are easy to buy for, and some are not.
What I do is phone each of them and ask what they would like, I always get a lovely reply.
Family gets what they want & we pay for it, that way I don't go shopping for presents expect for my husband and my father.
My husband & I have 11 people to buy gifts for which, is not many compared to some people. It's the joy of giving that is the best.
I wonder how others go about buying their Christmas Gifts?

  1. I have resorted to gift cards as the final bit of my Christmas shopping! Seems everyone is hard to buy for.

    1. I'm going to google gift cards to see what they are. I read on your blog that you were doing them the other day...

  2. If I cannot get an answer from them I give money - not very imaginative but then they can get what they want.

    1. That is what I usually do Rosemary, but one son and his wife and child usually are good..... you are correct about the money, at least they get what they want, not what you think they should have :)

  3. Evening M I was pressed for time this year so dramatically scaled down my gift giving and I like Delores am giving a lot of gift cards this year. I think it is more about the time together and less about the gifts. Take care my dear friend it sure is cold here. I am heading out to hopefully start the tractor, Are you ironing?:) just like the old days. HUGS HUGS xoxoG

  4. We are lucky too only having a small family. We usually ring the spouses to find out what the other one would like. This year we are celebrating with a big family and they have a Chris Kringle system where one person buys a gift for one other person but every person gets a gift.
