We headed off to Bridport the other day and was gone for 5 hours. I took some photos of the spring pastures along the way. Bridport is a rural area with a beach here in northeastern Tasmania.
This is where we bought some fish and chips for lunch and took them down to the sea and ate them.
On our way home we came across the trees that were cut down in the plantation.
Incredible scenery and I couldn’t pick a more favorite spot to eat fish and chips Margaret.

Yes very green and we haven't had a lot of rain either. Plenty of feed for the cows many of them now on the clover areas on the farms and it tastes in the milk, people complain about that.

Very green and not much rain in winter either. It's always lovely in that area. The cows and sheep are lucky to have such nice food to eat.

ReplyDeleteThank you Linda. Yes there are many IGA supermarkets in many places in Australia, if there is not a major supermarket there is an IGA and sometimes both, depends on the population. .

Eating fresh fish and chips right by the ocean is honestly my absolute favorite way to spend an afternoon. Those lush spring pastures in Tasmania look so bright and peaceful stretching out toward the coast. I would love to make that drive through Bridport just to breathe in that fresh coastal air.

ReplyDeleteThe beach is the nicest place anywhere in the world to eat casually with friends or family. Just a blanket to sit on and cold drinks in a flask.
