Renmark sunset in South Australia. I recently did a post with a sunset in Renmark SA and this is another one totally different. It never ceases to amaze me how clouds make such a dramatic difference especially in this case. These set of photos were taken in a different year but all the same evening.
You can refresh your memory what the sunset looked like [ here ] in the other post.

Wow! Very beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks Anne.
DeleteGorgeous sunsets Margaret, I think you are right about the clouds. They make for lovely photos!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you like them Denise. Thank you.
DeleteHello Margaret,
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful photos of the sunset.
I really enjoyed them.
All the best, Irma
I'm pleased you enjoyed them, Irma. Thank you.
DeleteSo pleasing to my soul...
ReplyDeleteThank you, Margaret!
You are most welcome.
DeleteYour photos of the sunset are very beautiful, Margaret. Sunsets like that don't exist where I live. They can be found out by the coast, but that’s not where I live. I enjoy your photos.
ReplyDeleteThank you Marit. We sometimes have similar sunset where I live but we don't see the whole sunset as in going down into the sea because hills and house are in the way of that.
Thank you. We here in Tasmania Australian Eastern Standard Time - we as in time are 8 hours ahead of you.
DeleteFirst Sunday in October we turn our clocks 1 hour ahead for daylight saving on the eastern side of the country only. The State of Queensland doesn't change even though it's on the eastern side. Then we will be 9 hours ahead as in time of your time.
gosh..what a sunset! You are lucky to be able to experience this glorious sunset.
ReplyDeleteI was very happy to look out the caravan kitchen window that evening and was amazing at that beautiful sunset, Jan. Lucky I had the camera in readiness and being parked next to the river was good too.
DeleteAbsolutely gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThank you Bill. I love it too.
DeleteThe sky holds eternal fascination. We just have to remember to look at it!
ReplyDeleteMuch to see when you look up David. Heard the birds and plenty of them in the camellia trees up the side of the house this morning, they were singing away beautifully and I spotted a nest too. 😊
DeleteThat looks magical.
ReplyDeleteIt did indeed to me too Hena.
DeleteSon muy bonitos, esos atardeceres me encantan, los colores que se ven cuando desaparece el sol y va cayendo la noche son pura fantasía.
ReplyDeleteSaludos
Oh yes, such gorgeous colours and many of them in that particular sunset.
DeleteSo beautiful . . . wonderful photographs.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Thank you Jan.
DeleteThose pictures are so pretty. Wow, I bet that was nice in person.
ReplyDeleteMagic in person Mary, just pure magic.
DeleteGreat place to visit and play jumping borders.
ReplyDeleteAlso Remark has great accommodation, hotels, motels and caravan parks.
Had great times there with our pub ( West Wyalong) mates - my age group.
Slowly getting warmer here but no batches of ducklings yet.
You had a good time there then Colin. Not a bad place to be in Renmark, we liked it.
DeleteCool here today, just a bit of a cold snap then getting warmer again.
I'm sure the little ones will appear soon.
The photos show it doesn't have to be a fiery red sunset to look impressive.
ReplyDeleteYou are correct Andrew, you would never really think that with clouds how different the sunset can be.
DeleteThese are beautiful, clouds do make a remarkable difference when the sun sets.
ReplyDeleteYes R, the clouds do make one heck of a difference at sunset, and then it's the kind of cloud and colour. All interesting.
DeleteYou are right. That is a brilliant sunset
ReplyDeleteYes Ruby a brilliant bright one...thank you.
DeleteDivine sunset... I love them myself too!
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming back to my blog, hug!
Thank you.

DeleteMargaret, this Renmark sunset feels like a painting.
ReplyDeleteLove how the soft clouds give the sky such a dreamy calm.
Amazing how nature never repeats itself the same way twice.
Thank You, Veronica, and yes, nature doesn't repeat itself in the same way and that makes photography so interesting.
DeleteIt looks like heaven.
ReplyDeleteIt was very peaceful and relaxing there, just the noise of the clicks of the camera when taking natures best.
DeleteImagens cuja beleza não deixa margem para dúvidas.

DeleteWhat beautiful, peaceful scenes. I love how big the sky looks there (spoken like a true urban jungle dweller)
ReplyDeleteYes very peaceful indeed and a different sunset as everyone is different, Mandy.
Thank you Manuel and you are most welcome. Was beautiful standing and sitting by the river taking photos.
DeleteHello Margaret,
ReplyDeleteWhat a great post with amazing pictures.
So amazing to see the colors of he sky on that wonderful place. Very well done!!
Many greetings,
Marco
Thank you Marco.
DeleteHi Margaret, your post did not appear for me in the Blogger news reader either, which is why I have suggested on my blog a few alternatives for following blogs such as Feedly. They are all free. Some people have been using Feedly for years. I guess it doesn't hurt to have a backup, this way if the Blogger news reader isn't working we can still see new posts of the friends and blogs that are important to us.
ReplyDeleteI have decided to use one of the alternatives that I suggested on my blog.
This is how I am able to keep in touch with you and others.
Linda, thanks. I noticed my post didn't appear on your blog - thanks for the suggestion and I'll take a look
DeleteI forgot to mention. I only post on Mondays and Thursdays, so people can also mark on their calendars if they choose to as a reminder of when my blog posts appear on my blog.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a lovely weekend ahead. 💗
Thanks Linda.
DeleteMaravilla de atardecer Margaret.
ReplyDeleteBuen fin de semana.Gracias
Un abrazo.
Truly stunning skies! I always get energized when I start a hike on a day with dramatic clouds.
