On one of our trips home from Queensland we came through a back road in New South Wales and being early morning time and in winter we came across some fog..just a few photos of the trees and road. These photos were taken with my phone at that time from inside the car. Where those little red dots are on the map below is the road we were on. Muttama Rd, Muttama.
There is just something about foggy mornings, a mystery as to what is up front, at the sides or behind maybe!

Beautiful view.
ReplyDeleteThanks Anne.
DeleteBonitas fotos de esas mañanas con nieblas y esos paisajes tan lindos y ahora para nosotros tan añorados debido a la calor que nos acompaña.
ReplyDeleteSaludos.
Thank you. You keep cool in your hot weather.
DeleteNot many people travelling at that time... : )
ReplyDeleteLove the header.
No not on that road being a country one. Mostly farmland in the area.
DeleteThanks re header. Flowers from my garden in flower now.
Your photos are so beautiful. I love fog!
ReplyDeleteThank you Marit. I too love fog and as it lifts.
DeleteHello Margaret,
ReplyDeleteThat are great shots. Nice to see the fog in a wonderful depth of the road.
Very nice with the trees!!
Many greetings,
Marco
The trees add to it Marco. Mostly farmland in that area.
DeleteDriving through winter fog on Muttama Road creates such magical mystery, catching those quiet misty trees from inside the car feels wonderfully cozy. Early morning road trips hold a special kind of peaceful charm, loving every single second of that foggy landscape view.
ReplyDeleteAlways mystery in the fog, you never know what is around the corner.
DeleteA beautiful, mystical landscape with the fog and no one else around early in the morning; those are interesting photos! hugs Elke
ReplyDeleteThanks Elke. It's a country road and we were the only ones on it, farmland area.
DeleteBeautiful scenery. Enjoy the rest of this foggy week, Margaret.
ReplyDeleteThank you. Lovely area.
DeleteThese are beautiful photos. If you like foggy mornings you should live here. We have them every morning. LOL
ReplyDeleteWell you would be tired of the fog then, in our city about 8 km away about (10 minutes) it's often foggy as Launceston is in a valley.
DeleteQue belleza de imágenes, Margaret. Un abrazo.
ReplyDeleteThank you Gil.
DeleteThe pictures are so nice. We don't get fog here too much at all.
ReplyDeleteWell I suppose that can be a good thing you don't get fog, it's different and if very thick it's hard to see.
DeleteThere's something so atmospheric about foggy pictures ... I do like them.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the map :)
All the best Jan
At least the map would load in blogger this time, not like the last post when it wouldn't. Yes, there is just something about the fog.
DeleteThe road looks a bit rough in parts. Possibly worse now. A little fog makes for a great photographic atmosphere.
ReplyDeleteSome of the outback roads are not good at all Andrew, pothole and so on. Love fog to take photos, Andrew as there is always a mystery to it in my thinking.
DeleteLinda mañana. Me gusta la niebla. Te mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteAh - yes around Canberra it can be horrible with the fogs and what comes out of them - KANGAROOS and EMUS plus the odd lost cow, bull, bullock or horse!
ReplyDeleteI reckon best to delay travel until the fog lifts.
All seems to be forgiven by Mr. and Mrs Wood duck.
Some of the ducks have young ones BUT the eels in the filthy water "pond/ditch" get the poor little buggers. Still 4 with one pair and thankfully they are growing quickly to void the fate.
4.00pm is invasion time for the ducks, parrots and those mongrel Mynas.
The parrokeets are bloody noisy and bossy.
Lovely morning here.
Cheers
Colin
You are having a lot of bird trouble Colin. Shame the eels get the baby ducks, but I suppose it's nature. Always cautious in the fog, Colin if too foggy one wouldn't go through it.
DeleteLying in bed, early in the morning, I don't mind fog outside. But driving your car, in a state that you don't know very well, might require more caution than normal.
ReplyDeleteYes Hels you are right, but we could see a head and not going fast at all. It get foggy here in Launceston ass it's down in the valley.
DeleteIt looks like quite the sceanic drive
ReplyDeleteLovely driving through there.
DeleteThese shots are so mysterious and beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks you Angie. Fog lends itself to being mysterious and I love that.
DeleteI like fog, but I am glad I never have to drive in it.
ReplyDeleteI'm a fan of fog R. I remember once it was that foggy from Launceston to Bracknell where we used to live i the country and I was driving home at 2am with my head out the window driving in sail pace, but I got home safely.
DeleteHello Margaret,
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos of your tour.
It is very lovely to see the mist over the meadows and trees like that.
All the best, Irma
Thank you Irma. I'm a big fan of fog.
DeleteThe road adds a lot to these pictures! Well done!
ReplyDeleteThank you Bill.
DeleteA natureza tem sempre o dom de nos encantar.
ReplyDeleteAbraço de amizade.
Juvenal Nunes
That is so true,, Juvenal. Thank you.
DeleteIn the hands of a skilled photographer the camera lends mystery to a foggy morning.
ReplyDeleteThank you David. Fog is always a mystery.
DeleteA neblina mudam completamente o visual deixa mais encantador, lindas as fotos Margaret bjs.
I would be very happy if there was at least a little fog here in Croatia...

I love a foggy morning just as long as it's safe to drive. I like to walk in it and feel the dampness and the silence. Super photos! It's always interesting to look at your maps too. Thank you for sharing Margaret.
ReplyDeleteExcellent shots of the foggy morning.
ReplyDeleteI agree, the fog brings with it a certain mystery.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos!
