Glebe Garden is not far from the city of Launceston. It's a garden center and these photos are a few items that are sold there - more to come including the plants later. This is the second post of what is at Glebe Garden.
This little bridge has recently been built at Glebe Garden, I do think it's cute. Some pavers or steps to buy along with a few plants, don't know the name of them but they did look alright in mass showing.

Looks lovely! This is the kind of place I like to visit.
ReplyDeleteOne can get totally lost in thought in a place like this one.
DeleteSuch a beautiful place! I love that little bridge.
ReplyDeleteI too love the bridge Angie and now a small chapel is being built in the foreground on the right hand side which I didn't take a photo of.
DeleteThat newly built little bridge is absolutely charming and gives the garden center such a cozy, established feel. Seeing those mystery plants grouped together in a mass display always makes such a striking impact, and it is the perfect inspiration for trying to figure out how to lay out pavers or steps in a home garden. It must be so fun to wander through all the different displays looking for ideas. Happy weekend.
ReplyDeleteI too love that new bridge, Melody. I did enjoy walking around the garden center.
DeleteSo gorgeous! I can see myself strolling there. : )
ReplyDeleteOh yes, easily done then in for a cup of coffee.
DeleteSchaugärten sind überall schön anzusehen!
ReplyDeleteLG aus Wien
Thank you and that is true.
DeleteIt looks wonderful. I would enjoy spending some time here!
ReplyDeleteIt's good browsing around at the garden center.
DeleteThat's a beautiful place. Easy to see you had a great time there, Margaret. I like that small bridge made with stones.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend.
Such a sweet bridge and I was surprised to see it. A chapel is being built on the right hand side well in front of the bridge, didn't take a photo.
DeleteHow beautiful, Margaret. Thank you for sharing these photos.
ReplyDeleteIt's a pleasure, Linda.
DeleteIt looks very beautiful there. I'm looking forward to see the plants!
ReplyDeleteThey don't have anything flash there, Marit. They did have some camellias which had small white flowers, not a spreading bush/tree, can't for the life of me think of the name of it...oh dear!
DeleteYour photos and the place itself are like opening the pages of a fairy tale. What an incredible place!
ReplyDeleteThat is a nice thing to say - thank you.
DeleteWhat a lovely place to visit, I enjoyed seeing your photographs.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Thank you Jan.
DeleteMargaret, a very nice place to take a walk among flowers that you'll surely want to buy more than one of. Around here we call them 'nurseries'.
ReplyDeleteSome places are called nurseries down here too, Norma. You can have a nursery within the garden center.
DeleteLindo parque. Me gustaría conocer ese lugar. Te mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteThank you J.P.
DeleteWhat a pretty place to visit.!
ReplyDeleteSomething different around every corner/bend Diane.
DeleteIt looks very inviting and worth visiting just to look, not that the business wants you to just do that.
ReplyDeleteIt certainly is pleasant there walking around, dropping in for a cup of coffee, Andrew. They have a nice gift shop as well.
DeleteOhh so beautiful place to visit...kiss, Andreja!
ReplyDeleteIt sure is Andreja.
DeleteIt looks like a place I could happily wander around in and indulge my imagination.
ReplyDeleteYou could indeed R. Nice pleasant surroundings.
DeleteWhat a beautiful place this is, Margaret.
ReplyDeleteI can imagine you enjoy being there. I think the little bridge is really beautiful.
I wish you a very good weekend.
All the best, Irma
Thank you, Irma. I was rather taken with that bridge as it's new and I didn't think I would ever see a new one built like that.
DeleteOne day, a decade or two ago, we wandered into an excellent garden center to look for a plant for a specific spot--- We ended up spending at least an hour just taking pictures.
ReplyDeleteSome places are just like that, Bill.
ReplyDeleteUn abrazo, Margaret.
The bridge is lovely and you are right in what you say, Jordi.
DeleteIt's always an enjoyable experience to explore places like this. The little bridge is quite cute, I like it.
ReplyDeleteWe don't see little bridges like that down here these days, Bill.
DeleteTake care and thanks.
That little bridge is delightful and, together with the pavers and massed plantings, gives plenty of inspiration for creating a charming garden landscape.
ReplyDeleteVery true, all is good to see there.
DeleteLovely!
ReplyDeleteThanks Anne.
DeleteLooks like an interesting spot. We missed it when we were there - but you can’t be everywhere, can you?
ReplyDeleteNo you can't go everywhere when travelling, we only know that well too as you do.
DeleteIn so einen Gartencenter findet man immer etwas meine Frau findet
ReplyDeleteimmer eine Pflanze die wir brauchen.
Gruß
Noke
Yes you can always find something or want something you can't find, Noke.

ReplyDeleteIt's a pleasure Denise and thank yoou.

ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteQue bonito Jardín!!! Un abrazo, Margaret.
ReplyDeleteThank you....same to you.
ReplyDeleteUn saludo, amiga
Thank you...same to you.
Thank you, I do think garden centers and nurseries are similar all over the world from what I've been told and seen in photos. Take care.
DeleteIt's a spectacular, beautiful garden, and it's also a plant nursery, as we call them here, where you can buy different kinds of plants.
ReplyDeleteRegards.
Well it's similar here, it's often what the owner registers their business as. True nurseries just grow plants/seedlings down here and sometimes sell them to the public as well as wholesale.
DeleteI love how pretty it is. I like going to places like this.
ReplyDeleteYou can always find something interesting that's for sure.
DeleteI love this place. It is beautiful. I could hang out here for a bit. Thanks for sharing it.
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome.
DeleteLooks absolutely gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteWas good walking around and looking as we didn't know what we were going to come across next.
DeleteThere's just something about walking in this kind of environment.
DeleteThat little bridge really does add such charm to the garden. I can imagine how nice it must be to wander around, seeing the pavers and plants set out like that.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to your photos of the plants.
Thanks Veronica, yes more to come in the future.
DeleteWhat a wonderful garden. Thank you for taking the time to share this post and photos with us. God bless.
ReplyDeleteIt's a pleasure to share. Thank you.
DeleteSuch a wonderful place..I want to go to Australia💖Very interesting country💖💖💖
ReplyDeleteIt is interesting and so much to see, Anita. Oneday you might get here.
ReplyDeleteSaludos
Thank you.
ReplyDeleteUn cordial saludo, Margaret.
Precioso lugar que también me gustaría visitar. Gracias Margaret y abrazos.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely little place. The new bridge certainly adds to the charm. I'm so pleased I discovered your blog. I'm loving seeing more of Australia and Tasmania and its different terrains (I've only visited Melbourne and surrounding areas before)
ReplyDeleteInteresting and beautiful Glebe Garden. The small bridge gives it a very special charm. In this place you will certainly always find beautiful plants and garden accessories.
