Another day

The weekend of having the new vehicle we headed down the Tamar River which is near the city.
Called into Blackwall took the first photo then headed further up the river and took the next one, then onto Greens Beach a popular beach.
The sun was in the wrong place to take decent photos, but it was a beautiful day so the sun was welcome.

Saw this a Alpaca taken from the vehicle as we moved.

Greens Beach at top middle on the map plus an old photo of me on Greens Beach in 2014.

We have many animals on farms, it's common here.

  6. Although you say that the sun was in the wrong place to take decent photos - I do like that first one with the clouds radiating out across the sky and their reflections in the water.

  9. Our friend in your city normally takes visitors to Greens Beach but she took us to Low Head and she said it is perhaps nicer for visitors. Whatever, I think both sides are nice.

    1. Was a lovely winter's day but the further we went down to the sea the more cloudy it became.

  11. Margaret, you obviously are oblivious to the cold winters of Tassie.

Good to see you were not up too close and cuddly with the alpaca.
They are goo spitters - ha ha!
    Cheers

    1. Colin, I would say out winters are not cold, might be to you who has lived in the tropics.
Haven't felt the cold or cool weather this year as yet.
Yes those alpacas do spit as do camels their relative.

  14. Lovely photos again, thanks for sharing. Even though the sun was not in the right place you still got some good shots, can't always be in the right place at the right time!

When travelling you just have to take it as it comes as far as photos go - you would know that only too well :)
