Called into Blackwall took the first photo then headed further up the river and took the next one, then onto Greens Beach a popular beach.
The sun was in the wrong place to take decent photos, but it was a beautiful day so the sun was welcome.
Saw this a Alpaca taken from the vehicle as we moved.
Greens Beach at top middle on the map plus an old photo of me on Greens Beach in 2014.
This is an area we birded in and found it very beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWell you know the area then. 'Tis a nice area.
Deleteaw, and another great day indeed.
ReplyDeleteI'll say, It's a good day to be alive, until I die.
lol how true.
DeleteAll the photos are beautiful but I especially liked the 1st and 4th they are spectacular. You were beautiful in the photo.
ReplyDeleteHugs
Maria
Thank you Maria :)

ReplyDeleteNoke
The first photo was with my new phone, seems to bring out the colours more..
DeleteEse animal, sólo lo vemos aquí visitando algún zoológico.
ReplyDeleteMe gustán esas preciosas vistas del mar.
Besos
It is a nice view.
DeleteWe have many animals on farms, it's common here.
Although you say that the sun was in the wrong place to take decent photos - I do like that first one with the clouds radiating out across the sky and their reflections in the water.
ReplyDeleteWas alright for the first photo but the remainder the sun was in wrong place :)
DeleteThe first photo is nice, the sky in particular.
Preciosos paisajes y tu estás muy guapa. Besitos.
ReplyDeleteThank you Teresa :)
DeleteI love alpacas
ReplyDeleteThey are different and ok if they don't spit like camels do :)
DeleteOur friend in your city normally takes visitors to Greens Beach but she took us to Low Head and she said it is perhaps nicer for visitors. Whatever, I think both sides are nice.
ReplyDeleteYes both sides are nice and different things to see.
DeleteSuch lovely photos
ReplyDeleteThanks Jo-Anne.
DeleteHow beautiful. It looks like a most exceptional day.
ReplyDeleteWas a lovely winter's day but the further we went down to the sea the more cloudy it became.
DeleteMargaret, you obviously are oblivious to the cold winters of Tassie.
ReplyDeleteGood to see you were not up too close and cuddly with the alpaca.
They are goo spitters - ha ha!
Cheers
Colin
Colin, I would say out winters are not cold, might be to you who has lived in the tropics.
DeleteHaven't felt the cold or cool weather this year as yet.
Yes those alpacas do spit as do camels their relative.
The first photo is fabulous, with the streaky clouds mirrored in the river below.
ReplyDeleteUnusual sky, was pleased it showed in the water..reflected well.
DeleteI think the first one was the streaming clouds, love it.
ReplyDeleteThanks, it is a rather a nice one, was pleased with it.
DeleteLovely photos again, thanks for sharing. Even though the sun was not in the right place you still got some good shots, can't always be in the right place at the right time!
ReplyDeleteThanks Rosie.
DeleteWhen travelling you just have to take it as it comes as far as photos go - you would know that only too well :)
Super photos, love the first one with the gorgeous looking sky. Alpacas are very cool.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the day!
Thank you Bill.
DeleteAlpacas are beautiful...lovely.
