The Spit.

The Spit as it's known is located in Mooloolaba on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia.
It's where Jessica Watson the 16 year old who sailed solo around the world a few years ago in the Pink Lady, sailed to her home port.

On the way back from The Spit I took a photo of an Apartment as it was the only one lit up.

    Oh, sunshine ... haven't seen a lot of that in my travels and at home for the last 3 months or so!!! I miss it - but luckily you've given me a little taste of what it's REALLY like!!!

      You might be right on that. I can't recall the name of the Apartments but I believe they have a spa in most of them and lots of other things to justify the cost, so I guess you get what you pay for.

    such lovely photos. queensland is so picturesque isn't it? I've finally been able to comment after trying three times the other day. i'm using ie which I dislike. I like Diane's 'golden hour'. it's true isn't it? such lovely light at that time of the day. hope you are well too. Fran
