Christmas, Dad & Ella

Like most of us we have been buying presents, going out and about at this time of year.  My legally blind dad (88) is staying at our house. This morning our eldest son bought his daughter Ella to see her Great Grandfather.  Ella is nearly 8 months old, has a bit of a cold no doubt due to her getting her first tooth soon.


The bracelet on Ella's arm is gold with a locket which has a little bluebird on it, a small teddy bear is on one of the links, her name is engraved on the plate and who from on the back...My dad's Christmas Gift to her.

      Thanks. It's a good photo of my dad :) Ella is a sweet placid baby her parents are very lucky.

      Thanks Diane, The hair! Ella's Mum has similar coloured hair, her dad had a rich auburn hair when he was little.

    Your father looks wonderful for 88 :) Ella is so adorable. I'm certain this lovely photo will be treasured by her when she's grown.

      Thanks Jane, Dad is very good for his age but slowing down. He can't see what Ella really looks just a faint shadow..

    I took Little Leo with me yesterday to see his great great gandmother, he found it fasanating that I had a nanna too............lol
