Birds of Bowen, Queensland

Now if you saw a bird or watched a bird go on it's side then upside down as in feet in the air and laying on it's back, you might think, Oh it died!  Well that's exactly what we thought when having a picnic lunch by the water near the first caravan park we stayed in in Bowen and saw this bird.
The photos were taken with my phone so not the best quality.

The above bird don't know it's name either, there is a also a blue one.

Flagstaff Hill, Bowen

Good views from Flagstaff Hill in Bowen. Views from Rose Bay, along the expanse of Kings Beach, across to the lighthouse on North Head Island, Stony Island, Gloucester Island back to the Marina, and across town, you will feel like you're on top of the world. Binoculars and a look-out tower ensure the best view in the Whitsundays.
