I do love Peacocks their colours and grace is amazing and forever hold my interest.
This beautiful creature I captured a few years ago at the Launceston Gorge about 10 minutes from the city.
We are off again on a short holiday in Tasmania for about 2 weeks so see you all when we return.
Be safe, stay well and enjoy yourselves.
When I was a kid I used to collect peacock feathers. I kept them within the pages of books.
ReplyDeletePeacocks are so majestic!
Beautiful creatures and how nice to keep some feathers..magic colours.
DeleteI love Peacocks they are unmatched in their beauty. Another trip for you means more posts for us to enjoy. Have fun. Hugs B
ReplyDeleteThey are indeed B. Thanks, yes more photos hopefully this time of Tasmania from the area we travel..
DeletePeacocks are I agree beautiful - I love their feathers and would love to have some in a vase, but many people, apparently, believe that to do that is unlucky.
ReplyDeleteI've seen people with peacock feather in large vases and think they do look attractive. Didn't know that some believe it's unlucky.
DeleteEspero que lo pases muy bien. Un abrazo.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure we will Teresa.
DeletePeacocks are spectacular birds.
ReplyDeleteWonderful pictures.
Hugs and all the best.

DeleteDesde que estuve en la ciudad de Plasencia, no he vuelto a fotografiar un pavo real. Después no he tenido la oportunidad de hacerlo.
ReplyDeleteSon preciosas las fotografías que has hecho.

DeleteMany times I've been to the Gorge but don't always come across peacock like the one in the photo, I was lucky that day.
They are truly dramatic birds aren't they? Lucky India, having them as their national bird.
ReplyDeleteHave fun on your holiday. Enjoy yourselves and stay safe.
Beautiful bird and yes, India is lucky - thanks.
DeleteThere hardly seems to be a park or garden in the world that does not have peacocks.
ReplyDeleteI believe so from photos I've seen.
DeleteWow, what a display!
ReplyDeleteI was so thrilled when I saw this particular peacock in full array, he was like that for ages.
DeleteEnjoy your local holiday and look forward to your return, if I don't see you before, haha.
ReplyDeleteThanks Andrew - You never know on this island who you will bump into :)
DeleteHave a good one.
Truly remarkable. Have a good trip!
ReplyDeleteThanks Bill.
DeleteHow beautiful they are.
ReplyDeleteSt. Bernard's Hotel here on the mountain had them roaming around their property. I'm not sure if the peacocks still do...of the bird variety...I mean! :)
lol..
DeleteThey are beautiful birds Lee. Up in the Gorge there is a restaurant with table and chairs outside and you often see a peacock on a chair when no one is using them.
Thanks Agnes.
