Heading from Coffs Harbour to Tamworth NSW in winter 2017 through Waterfall Way which is a windy road and of course waterfalls mostly having to drive on gravel roads to view them with no water or hardly any water coming down the waterfalls at that time of year.
We stopped on the side of the road to have a stretch went into the caravan to see if all was alright after coming around several bends and - found olive oil on the floor plus a worcestershire bottle of sauce on the floor and one heck of a mess. Discovered the bottom had broken off the sauce which was a full bottle, the top had come off the half empty bottle of olive oil and the two had mixed together on the floor of the caravan.
(The door where we keep such things hadn't obviously been shut properly).
Now really this was one big mess - lucky we had paper towel which was used to get the bulk of the mess cleaned, my shoes were croc sandles making it easier to put the feet in the mess and clean after.
Luckily we had fairly hot water, so out came the mop, the pump went on, dish-washing detergent on the mop and off I set cleaning up the floor.
Amazing it was clean as a whistle with no grease left on the floor, it was hard to believe.
Washed the mop out put it back in place and turned the pump off and off we set for more of the winding road.
Yes we took the mess lightly and had a good laugh!
The pub in Dorrigo the town one goes through and below a shop both taken out the vehicles window as we moved around the corner. Can't always stop in these towns because they have angle parking which is way too short for a caravan or motorhome.
These two photos are one of the waterfalls, no water. There was a parking area and a platform to view the scene.
Just a branch of a tree taken near the platform - was practising to just get a small part of the branch in focus and blur the background - it worked.
Below 3 maps to show the distance from Tasmania, the second photo to show the bends, the 3rd to show from Coffs Harbour to Armidale which we bypassed.
