Port Macquaire, Bulahdelah, Heatherbrae, NSW

After Port Macquarie we headed to Heatherbrae in NSW for one night before heading towards Sydney,  I planned on the map to go west of Sydney and we found our way without getting lost! 5 lanes of traffic in places.  We have been into Sydney before but without a caravan.

Port Macquaire Police Station, the newer one then the old one.

Bulahdelah, NSW - the shopping area on a rather steep hill, it's here we had lunch at a lovely park.

Caravan Park at near Heatherbrae NSW

The amenities block below and restaurant where we had a meal.

Heatherbrae is the mark on the map not that far from Sydney 162 klms
First lot of flowers we had seen since leaving home.  Well flowers that we also have at home.

Around Port Macquarie, NSW

Continuing Port Macquarie
A Canal and photos of more beaches around the area.
The colour of the water was amazing and photos do not do it justice.

Port Macquarie, NSW

Port Macquarie is a town at the mouth of the Hastings River in New South Wales, Australia. It’s known for its beaches, wildlife and penal colony past. St. Thomas' Anglican Church was built by convicts in the 19th century. A coastal walk from the town centre to the 19th-century Tacking Point Lighthouse offers views over waters home to whales and dolphins.

Once again in Winter 2016 a caravan park was by the Hastings River, this was our view!

Photos of some buildings and beaches plus the lighthouse in Port Macquarie.
