Home!

After 4. 1/2 months we arrived home safely via the Spirit of Tasmania with an excellent smooth sailing across Bass Strait.
Had a couple of things go wrong on the holiday, leaking sink in the bathroom, and a flat tyre on the caravan the latter happening just two days before sailing.

Family of 5 are still in our house so things are rather cramped.

Closer to home!

We are in a place called Eden, leaving in the morning for Lakes Entrance which will mean we are into the State of Victoria and 2 nights sleep before boarding the ship to home, just over 4 months of travelling.
To the Spirit the ferry to take a look if you wish.

Eden is not too far from Sydney.
The photo I'm showing you is of a lighthouse at Kiama 120klms south of Sydney.  It's a pretty little town but nowhere did we find a place to park to take photos in the town it's-self.

The Padlocks!

We are getting closer to Sydney. Will go west of Sydney to miss the heavy traffic, if we don't get lost!  That will be late next week I expect.
Then return to the East Coast to continue our journey home.

Typically the sweethearts' names or initials are inscribed on the padlock, and its key is thrown away to symbolize unbreakable love.
