The Murray River, also known as The Mighty Murray. Mildura is in the northern area of the State of Victoria. Mildura is known for growing citrus fruit especially oranges, wine and supply 80% of grapes to the State of Victoria. You can take a ride on steamboats, hire a boat house to 'do' part of the Murray River if you wish. It's 1,092 kms (678m mile) from Launceston where we live. It takes 18 hours and 22 minutes as we have to go across the sea, Bass Strait then drive there.

At Mildura, Victoria
Hoping you will enjoy a journey inland in the State of Victoria to inland New South Wales, Australia. I think this was our 3rd or 4th trip at that time in the car staying at Motels along the way and eating our meals at restaurants. These early years of travelling we didn't take our caravan..
Showing photos of Swan Hill on the Victorian and New South Wales border from 2003, yes a long time ago. This is inland about 9 hours from Sydney.
Didn't take many photos with my digital camera because the 'cards' back then didn't hold a lot of photos. There were not many places to take the cards to either to have the photos put on a Disc CD or DVD but not sure if DVD's were about then. Sometimes the places we went to didn't know what I was talking about. In those days I didn't have a laptop either. To access email we had to go to an Internet Cafe whilst travelling.
Mildura is on the border of Victoria and New South Wales inland. There is a population of about 33,444 people. There are river cruises on steam boats to be had.
The Church is St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Last two photos. The bridge at a place called Swan Hill not too far from Mildura, south east to be exact and it also situated on the border of Victoria and Swan Hill. 2 hours and 30 minutes drive.
I haven't shown these photos before, maybe the bridge, the last photo once, a long time ago.
