I was reading a forum this evening and came across 'AdBlock' which is for my browser to stop all kinds of advertisements and such.  It's free but $5.00 donation is accepted :) I installed 'AdBlock' and wow!!! amazing, no pop up either. It can be disabled at will.

No more adds on Youtube, Facebook and so on.....

Private Health

For as long as I can remember both my husband and I have had Private Health Insurance which has afforded us to choose the Doctor & Private Hospital of our choice when needed over the years.  If we hadn't of had Private Health Insurance I hate to think how long we would of had to wait on the waiting list at the Public Hospitals plus put up with the symptoms.

In our case, Private Health Insurance served us well & has truly paid for itself.

Many people say they can't afford the yearly fee.

It depends on what is important to each individual who hasn't taken our Private Health Insurance in their life.  

Of course there are several people who couldn't afford the yearly fee, especially those people who are renting a house at a costly rate, plus some single aged pensioners.

We have never had any trouble throughout our lives paying the fee, and yes, we have been through tough times at times.

Just a few of my thoughts on Private Health.

Ella Grace

Busy week this week, my blind dad had minor operation on Monday morning at 6.30am at the Private Hospital, all went well.  Unfortunately things didn't quite go according to plan in the night so had him back into surgery by 7am the next morning, he was then admitted to same hospital and is gradually improving.

In the middle of this, we had our fourth grandchild born :) Ella Grace, both mother and baby are doing extremely well. Our son is doing well too!

Low Head, Tasmania, Australia

Went for a drive the other day was gone 5 hours.  Down one side of the Tamar River across the Batman Bridge and back down to the city of Launceston, Tasmania, Australia.

Low Head is at the mouth of the Tamar River, a small town with a small population.

A signal station was set up at Low Head in 1805.  It is Australia's oldest continuously used pilot station. The light house was built as in the tower 1883, but poorly constructed thus pulled down and another rebuilt in 1888.  These days it's unmanned but of course in use with all the modern workings.

Batman Bridge built between 1966 - 1968 was the first cable stayed bridge in Australia.

The grounds are lovely and green and many a camper is camped for free. Camping was not permitted once but obviously now it is!
