Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The Parish was founded in 1912? as far as I can ascertain, there is not a lot of history or information about the church.

Churches here are pretty much becoming historical relics as congregations plummet. Mostly these days they are people with white hair or no hair, with very few young people maintaining religious observance.

ReplyDeleteMany (most?) of our chuches in regular use now are of the Pentecostal variety and they often look more like community halls.
We have seen those type of churches as we have travelled within Australia.
