Conway Beach is not that from from Proserpine or Airlie Beach in Queensland.
Not many people live there, about 80 people!
There is a caravan park there plus a Diner which we visited one other year to have lunch.
Wilson Beach below is just around the corner from Conway Beach. Not many people live in the little town of Wilson Beach.
I would be very happy not to walk where the crocodiles are!
ReplyDeleteMe too. Had a good look around before I step out of the vehicle I can assure you.
DeleteUnas panoramicas de intensa belleza, amiga
ReplyDeleteThanks, it is beautiful.
DeleteSe ve un lugar tranquilo, libre de aglomeraciones.
ReplyDeleteLas fotos que has tomado son muy bellas.
Besos
Thank you and not a person there.
DeleteA beautiful area. My brother's family name is Wilson so they would be particularly attracted.
ReplyDeleteAnd I am glad that the crocodile warning is up for visitors. If I was to visit one warning would be more than sufficient.
Thanks for sharing beauty.
You are welcome.
DeleteMany signs up that way regarding the crocodile especially near rivers, but so many people get in their dingy's in the water, it's a wonder they are not taken by crocs.
Such lovely photos
ReplyDeleteThank you Jo-Anne.
DeleteYou wouldn't have to worry about staying 1.5 metres apart there. It's more like 1.5kms apart! :)
ReplyDeletelol...Lee - you are correct on that one!
DeleteCamp well away from the water, the sign says. Like a couple of kilometres for me.
ReplyDeleteWe wouldn't dream of camping there, not a good idea at all.
DeleteWhat a lovely beach, very pretty.
ReplyDeleteSo different at sunset..
DeleteHi Margaret, new in here on your blog. Wow, the photos really do show how beautiful that beach is. I'm sure it's even better in real life. Anyways, hope to see you around, girl! ;)
ReplyDeleteAlways better to see it live as in real.
DeleteMuy bonita playa. Los cocodrilos dan mucho miedo. Besitos y salud.
ReplyDeleteThey certainly can be Teresa, certainly would not want to find one at my feet!
DeleteBe safe.
Wilson and Conway beaches are beautiful. Not a fan of crocs so I would stay away from that area. :) Stay safe!
ReplyDeleteWas careful when taking photos, believe me I was for they do come and sun themselves on the banks.
DeleteYou stay safe too.
Very pretty.
ReplyDeleteI think so too.
DeleteVery peaceful looking.
