Be safe and keep well!
The ferry we sail on to get to mainland Australia has now stopped bringing people in caravans and motor homes entering the State of Tasmania, but freight is still permitted. Our Premier announced that yesterday morning. Tasmanians are permitted to return home but must quarantine for 14 days.
Hideaway Bay is a small town in the Whitsunday Region and not far from Proserpine where we stayed in the caravan park.
The view at Hideaway Bay is a beautiful place with most of the houses or shacks looking over the sea. It's a quiet place with just over 200 people and no shops. Not far to travel to some though. Part of the view and some houses of the area.
Life now everywhere. Stay safe and well!
ReplyDeleteVery true Sussi - and thank you..you too.
DeleteWhat a beautiful place to live. The houses are quite nice.
ReplyDeleteStay safe and well!
Rather nice for one family in each house.
DeleteThanks Bill, you too.
Lots of those houses would have amazing views.
ReplyDeleteStay safe, stay well.
They do EC, as we drove past we could see the sea between the houses.
DeleteThanks and you too.
No shacks visible. I guess you will have to winter it out at home this year.
ReplyDeleteNot many shacks there at all.
DeleteStaying home, we were not going this winter anyway as it's become rather mundane which tells us - stay home and just as well.
Ver estos paisajes ahora desde casa alegra amiga.
ReplyDeleteCuídate Margaret.
Desde casa te mando este abrazo 🙅

Lovely little spot. I will put Hideaway Bay on my list, but won't be packing the van for quite a while. Have just cancelled our Easter trip to the Flinders Ranges, but we'll be on the road when safe to do so. Take care.
