Gunna Go Caravan Park, Queensland

Be safe and keep well!

The Gunna Go Caravan Park we stayed in near Proserpine is a really nice park.  There are two parts to it, the top part and the bottom part but both are joined so to speak.  The amenities are very clean as is the laundry and pool.
There is a bar undercover with chairs and a table, it's here people congregate to meet other travellers and have a drink or two.  Every Friday management put a barbecue on for their guest at no cost to those guests.  Sausages and salads.
Usually a lot of people stay in this park but not last years winter holiday when we were there, we probably missed many stayers as we were later going north.
We stayed in the bottom half, photos were taken from our caravan site.

  3. Tiene buenos árboles, que proporcionan buenas sombras ante los calores del verano.

Esas bellas fotografías hacen pensar que es un lugar ideal, para pasar unos días de vacaciones.

  5. The Friday barbecue for guests is a lovely gesture - and no doubt much appreciated.
It looks like a wonderful place, and I fear it is empty now, and likely to be so for some time to come.

    1. The owners are youngish people, well for me they are :) I expect no one is there right now as I do believe caravan parks are places to park are closing, but not sure about Q'land.

    1. They are lovely sausages too David, not a sausage lover but will eat them, they make a mean salad as well.
Nothing would be happening there now. Tasmania caravan parks and places to park are to be closed next Wednesday, that will give time for the mainland people who are here to get on the ship and sail home.
