Camilla, Queensland on our way to Rockhampton.
Camilla in Queensland has a population of about 400 people. There is a service station plus food, we often call to get some chips and maybe fish at the roadhouse.
These flowers are beautiful in colour and are a nice contrast against the blue and the colour of the road.

Whenever I see an old house like that falling into disrepair and no longer occupied, I always wonder about the hopes and dreams of the people who built it and what has happened for it no longer to appeal to anyone.

ReplyDeleteHibiscus Rosemary, the wind was blowing it and fortunately it came out clear and sharp.

A deteriorated and inhabited house reminds us of an unknown past and sometimes it makes curious. Who lived there? Why did they leave?

ReplyDeleteWhen the Greeks made fish and chips it didn't seem where the shop was the meal was always wonderful, and of course they are not the same (the chips) if they are not in newspaper, and newspaper of old :)
