This past week our eldest son, his wife and their two little ones went to one of the beaches on the East Coast whilst they are on holiday on the East Coast - this is the family that got flooded out on Christmas Day.
Now it's been said many times that Miss E aged 4 is much like me in her mannerisms and ways, and that I will never be dead whilst she is alive :)
This photo refers to me by our eldest son, his wife and her family.

Master Z aged 2, and his second name - named after my late dad.
Eldest son with his two little ones - isn't the water clear!
WOW! It is nice to see the kids, they look so cute!
ReplyDeleteThanks.

Thanks Noke...
DeleteLovely - her earrings are fun, and what a special thought to know that she takes after you.
ReplyDeleteShe is a darling little one. I'm rather tickled she takes after me....it was bound to happen.
DeleteYou wanted a bunch of Northerners to groan, huh. It's even below 40F here in Tampa this morning. :) I'll wait til it warms up to walk the pups
ReplyDeleteYou live in a warmer area of the USA so when it gets cool in your winter it's ok.
DeleteWonderful kids, wonderful beach. I'd like to be warmer than I am here this morning, but not THAT warm!
ReplyDeleteThanks. Yes way too hot over 35 deg C in my book. Keep warm.
DeleteThe water looks awesome
ReplyDeleteIt does look lovely Jo-Anne..
DeleteNice. I was going to remark how clear the water is and you mentioned it too. Some of our beaches have been closed of late, too polluted for swimming. Disgraceful.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I did hear that on the 9 News well before the local ABC news...
DeleteNot good enough in this day and age....hope it's all clear quickly.
A sunny day, kids enjoying the beach just about perfect,
ReplyDeleteMerle................
Most children enjoy the beach which is good.
DeleteThe water is so clear and a lovely shade of blue. I'm sure it is much enjoyed in such hot weather. Your granddaughter is just adorable! Love that red hair.
ReplyDeleteMost of our sea water is like that in the photo, we are lucky.
DeleteMiss E has long curly red hair, it is a beautiful colour, many people comment on her hair..

DeleteShe looks absolutely delightful - as do her brothers. And the beach. Melting here.
ReplyDeleteKeep cool over your way if you can, it's been too hot over there...not too bad here though. Thanks :)
DeleteYes the water is lovely. Nice place to cool off. That is so sweet what they said about their daughter being like you.
ReplyDeleteThanks Diane, and it's ever so true, I see it myself and it's odd when you see yourself coming towards you.
DeleteIsn't she a little sweetheart, and the Grandson too. that water looks so inviting!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous water and the colour of it too - it's so very clear.
