On the way up to the Tahune Airwalk, the view on the walk so many trees gone in the bush fire from a few years back - rather sad.
It's still very beautiful though many trees were gone.
It is lovely and I can recall walking there years ago when there were tall trees and you hardly see below.
Still beautiful, though. That walkway is a good idea!
It is a good idea Sandy, it brings tourists and others to that pretty area.
Very sad, but beautiful still.
Such a shame but that's bush fires, nothing you can do about it.
I suppose trees were planted to replace, at least partially, the ones gone in the fire.
Only saw a small amount of trees that had been planted but nature rejuvenates all by itself.
Wow.
It is kind of wow, a long way up there. It's wheelchair friendly and there is a mini bus that takes people to and from the walk which is good.
I wish I could this walk but sadly I can't
Many people can't Jo-Anne, a mini bus is available to drive those that can't walk the steps and it's wheel chair friendly too.
DAmn that is good
Bellissimo questo percorso sospeso per aria.
It is such a shame that so many of the trees were lost in the bush fires but it would be interesting to to go on the airwalk.
It is a long way up Rosemary and I can remember walking there when you couldn't hardly see the bush floor.
Such good views from the airwalk. The blackened tree trunks tell the recent history.
Oh yes, fire must have raged there be rather frightening as bush fires are.

It probably was holy smoke when the fires were raging.
This is a beautiful area for a walk.Greetings Irma

That's my kind of place!
I guessed that, lots of birds.
Es una buena zona boscosa y parece ser que han repuesto, lo que se perdió con el incendio. Besos
I would enjoy walking in this place.
wow never saw such impressive sight before dear Margaret ,this is great how authorities has maintained the air walk way for walkers wow ,loved it
Something different Baili.
and yes this is sad that such lovely woods can catch fire ,loss can be irreparable for so long
You are correct Baili, in time it will grow back to it's forma glory.
Looks a lovely walk but sad about the bush fire.
Sure is sad about the fires down that way - same with flood, so much damage can be done and is done.
Me parece um bom lugar pra uma bela caminhada, é claro que incêndios não nos deixam felizes, muito pelo contrário. Boa semana! ♡
Nice to walk as you say, but so devastating to see the damage of the fires which no one can do a thing about once fire gets burning.
Right place for me... but such a shame there was a bush fire. I hope nature recovers quickly.hug Viola
Time will repair, but it won't be in my time unfortunately as it takes some years for those trees to grow so tall.

Very sad about the trees, but it still looks very nice. All the best Jan
Se ve muy bonito todavía, aunque el incendio afecto bastante. Un abrazo Margaret.
It will be beautiful when it all grows back again, be some years though.
