Snug is a small town not that far from Huonville. The town is about 30km from Hobart the State Capital of Tasmania, Australia. We visited there after Easter...some photos of the beach as it's a coastal town.
The entrance to the beach, then looking one way then the other. A few seagulls. The last photo taken at Kettering (about 20k, from Hobart) where you catch the Ferry to Bruny Island.
These photos were taken late in the afternoon and have a fair bit of glare.
Such a beautiful little town!
ReplyDeleteIt is Angie.
DeleteThe beach is beautiful and a nice place to explore. I like the seagulls and their shadows.
ReplyDeleteSurprisingly there were not many seagulls there.
DeleteIt looks lovely. I can almost smell the air....
ReplyDeleteFresh and clean, a good sea smell.
DeleteSuch beautiful photos
ReplyDeleteThanks Jo-Anne.
DeleteGosto de vir aqui e conhecer nomes de lugares que nunca pensei existir, gostaria de conhecer alguns.
ReplyDeleteMas tenho que me contentar em vê-los apenas em foto e vídeo.
Bella partilha! bj
Understand. It is interesting know the names of places in ones country and visit and even better if we could visit other countries with small places too.
DeleteThe beach is a dog restricted area. This is a good idea so that birds can enjoy walking there all day.
ReplyDeleteThat's true. I think there is an area in Snug where dogs can be taken onto the beach and kept within the bounds of that particular area.
DeleteNice photos, a place to walk, to relax and enjoy nature, it gives healthy envy just to see them.
ReplyDeleteBest regards.
A lovely long walk can be taken along that nice beach Jose.
DeleteThis seems like a beautiful town.
ReplyDeleteAlso beautiful is the harbor with the sailing ships, it's as if I see my own city that way.
I have enjoyed your photos again.
Greetings Irma
Thanks Irma.

Beautiful and tranquil - and with Silver Gulls too. It doesn't get much better.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, the birds are always lovely to see and waiting for something to eat too.
DeleteYour photos are nice and bright. The sea lapping at the shore always looks so good.
ReplyDeleteThe depth of sand isn't great but it's nice.
DeleteBeautiful and peaceful city.
