Mindil Beach at Darwin is a popular one especially for the Mindil Market which I've never attended as I'm not a market person. There is another post done in 2015 and here is the link to the Market video.
In this post the first photo is of the first vehicle we had to tow out first caravan. The remainder of the photos are of the beach the last photo is another beach further along to the east of Darwin with two men going fishing with a net.
The perfect place for a day on the beach: the sand to rest, a beautiful and calm sea to swim and the palms to enjoy their shadow. Of course no fishing because I am an animal lover.
ReplyDeleteNice under a tree there as it was rather hot to sit on the sand for me, even in winter. Have to keep an eye out for crocodiles but we didn't see any there.

Yes a fair bit of shade there and people don't use umbrellas a lot at the beach in Australia, if they did it's only for the wind.

ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful colour Duta, some areas not so good but so many place the sea is a gorgeous colour.
DeleteIt is rather a nice beach, renown for its beautiful sunsets and they are good. A busker was playing a digeridoo along with high energy electronic dance music. It was quite amazing and the only time I have ever heard the combination.

DeleteI've never been there when the sun is setting too busy probably swimming in the pool or getting dinner ready.
A pleasant place to spend a few days.
