Now I'm delving into photos and a video or two taken not long ago, in this instance it was Christmas last 2019 when eldest son, his wife and their two little ones, my husband and myself took our caravans to a place down south called Huonville Tasmania for a Christmas Holiday.
There is a river /small one at the back of the property of the Caravan Park.
The first is a video of Miss E who was then 7 years of age blowing bubbles behind out caravan. The bubbles being normal pace then are slow motion. Video goes for 15 sec, if you blink you might miss it :)
Then we have Santa who paid a visit Christmas Eve day to give all children a gift 2019
We did our best to make it look like Christmas, so we bought this little Christmas Tree that has several different patterns to choose from, we chose the one that changed colours and tied the tree to the table in case the wind got up.
Miss E found a 4 leaf clover and the two photos below are sparklers which were lit by the fire in a drum, she is trying to make a circle which eventually did happen after many sparklers.
Son and myself had a good time with our phones to get the correct effect.
Where the marker is, that's where we were plus you can see Launceston in the north, that's where we live.
Looks like you guys had fun last Christmas and I didn't know there was really such a thing as a four-leaf clover. Wow! Thanks for sharing it..
ReplyDeleteYes Judee, we did have fun so much laughing.
DeleteI had never seen a four leaf clover until Miss E said she found one!
What a great outing with the family!
ReplyDelete:)
Was a lovely holiday Catarina.
DeleteHow wonderful. Love those bubbles and the multi-coloured Christmas tree rocks.
ReplyDeleteYou did well to capture the sparkler circle too.
When I took that video I remembered thinking of your bubbles you show us in our winter :)
DeleteWas fun doing the sparklers, the children used so many we went and bought more Boxing Day.
Fun with family during Christmas, it doesn't get better than that. Nice photos and it's the first time ever that I saw bubbles in slow motion. :)
ReplyDeleteNo it doesn't Bill.
DeleteHopefully this year we can do similar, have to wait and see.
It was the first time I had taken a video of a bubble like that..interesting to see.
ReplyDeleteUn abrazo.
Hopefully we can have a similar Christmas this year. At the moment there have been no new cases here for many days but our border is expected to open for Tasmania later in October, but it might not open.
DeleteTake care.
Simpáticas imágenes, que reflejan buenos momentos de felicidad.
ReplyDeleteBesos
Thank you.
DeleteThere is always happiness with family.
Such fun and happy photos that made me smile
ReplyDeletePleased it made you smile Jo-Anne.
DeleteAs you know I don't often show family :)
I remember your family get together in Huonville. Great photos and the video.
ReplyDeleteThanks Andrew, I remember mentioning on the blog that we went away with family for Christmas last but never showed the photos, maybe the one of Santa..
DeleteGreat photoes of family gathering in Christmas I love that Christmas tree
ReplyDeleteFor me it is strange with Christmas without snow..Your granddaughter is beautiful❤
I can imagine your Christmas's with snow - we are used to hot weather for Christmas :)
DeleteThe Christmas tree was very effective.
That was a fun Christmas. Hope you can have another one this year. We loved the Huon Valley area. Very clever light drawing pics. Well done!.
ReplyDeleteIt sure was a fun one.
ReplyDeleteIt's really good down that way, scenic.
Thanks...the tree is good changing all colours.
Doesn't last Christmas seem such a long time ago - you look like you had a fabulous time. sadly we have now given up on the family holiday back in Australia this year - sob sob! So keep your pics coming I will need my Aus fix!
ReplyDeleteWren x
Last Christmas does seem a very long time ago.
DeleteWe had good fun.
Maybe next year you can visit home/your second home :)
I envy you --- Also, I love the sparkler pictures.
ReplyDeleteYou have beautiful things, places you have seen and still do different to here that I haven't seen, but seeing scenes from your neck of the woods is great.
DeleteThanks re sparkler photos, was fun taking them.
The changing color Christmas tree - that's quite an attraction!
ReplyDeleteDidn't see anyone else in the Caravan Park with a tree like ours, Christmas decorations on their caravans though where as we didn't.
DeleteGreat pictures and good memory to remember and remain hopeful
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteAlways hope, no matter what there is 'hope'.
I hope that Miss E kept her lucky four leaf clover.
ReplyDeleteIt looks strange to see Santa sitting outside in the sunshine.
Miss E kept if for awhile then she found another :)
DeleteEspecially when you are used to most likely seeing Santa in the snow which we are not used to seeing.
Lovely memories.
ReplyDeleteI find it weird to see Christmas and Santa Claus around summer time. Here in Finland Santa Claus and white snow and darkness belong together. However, in Southern Finland (where I live), Christmas is not always white.
Hugs
That's interesting you don't always have snow at Christmas time in southern Finland. I to my way of thinking you would have snow.
DeleteChristmas to us is, sun, sea, light - long night, surf and hot weather so very different from your Christmas time.
This is a lovely post, it looks like you had a lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteHow good to find a our-leaf clover.
All the best Jan
We did have great fun that Christmas away from home, the first I might add. I've never found a 4 leaf clover but Miss E hunted two out that day.
DeleteThanks for sharing your most recent Christmas holiday; nice to see Santa relaxing after all that hard work! This year we will be spending out first Christmas at home in many years, thanks in part of the corona virus situation, but last year we had already planned to do so. The only problem is that now we don't know "when" we will be able to visit family after the holidays. Bubbles are such fun and Miss E did a good job and those sparklers were fun to see.
ReplyDeleteBusy time for Santa.
DeleteMost of us are wondering what will be happening at Christmas being with family hopefully...it's wait and see I expect for all of us.
Bubbles are fun indeed.
Brilliant xmas delights, love them.
ReplyDeleteNice time of year is Christmas
DeleteThe video with the bubbles in slow motion is so fun.
ReplyDeleteI loved your Christmas tree.
Spectacular, Miss E find a clover with 4 leaves, I never found any.
It was certainly a very pleasant and fun Christmas
Take care and be well
Thanks Maria.
ReplyDeleteWith cameras of phone doing slow motion these days the ideas are endless.
Un precioso recuerdo. Espero que todo vaya bien por ahí. Besos.
ReplyDeleteThanks Teresa.
DeleteShe is lucky. I have not tried to find four leaf clovers for a long time. Thanks for reminding me of this fun.
ReplyDeleteDon't think I've ever found one either.
