Glenrowan on towards Holebrook, Victoria.

Heading up the highway we decided to go much the same way as we did last year to Far North Queensland (FNQ) Australia.

We stopped at Glenrowan, Victoria for early lunch at the Bakery, it was cold, so cold.
Parked in parking bay for caravans and cars and ate it, spotted the temperature at 2 degC.
After eating we got out for a walk and found Ned Kelly statue a notorious bush ranger way back.
The town centres around the memories of this man, a museum, gift shops and such.

We continued on and stayed at Wodonga, Victoria a rather nice town for one night, then off the next morning to another town to sleep.

The swimming pool at the Wodonga Caravan Park and the highway which goes through the town.

  1. You certainly do see a lot of Australia on your peregrinations.

    1. We do, and we always try to see something different even though we mostly likely have been to the same place as before, there is something different to seek out and see.

  3. Two degrees at noon is unbelievably cold, so I guess you did not plunge into the pool. I had not realised how big the statue of Ned is in real life.

    1. Ned is very large Andrew, couldn't miss it and yes, another 'big' thing :)
I recall the wind wasn't blowing in Glenrowan, if it had of been it would have been chilling to the bone.

  6. I bet it was a chilly night in your camper. What's up with Mr Kelly's head? He looks like a bank for coins!

    1. Cynthia, Ned wore head gear similar to that in reality, he had to see and breathe etc..
