Headed there after a rainy humid day in Winter 2016. Had more photos but can't find them - perhaps deleted (:
Spathiphyllum (Peace Lily) and never have we seen a purple one - these were taken with my Sumsung Galaxy Edge 7. Both these photos were taken in the covered in area.
Same flower as the above one.
Lovely flowers and fantastic weather go well together.

ReplyDelete:)
DeleteWell, at least you found these really lovely images. Well done!
ReplyDeleteLucky I had taken some with my phone..things happen.
DeletePhone cameras are just so good now. If I didn't have such trouble holding a phone still, I would probably give up on separate camera.
ReplyDeleteA heavier camera seems to be easier to hold still...my phone hardly ever takes a blurry photo but I might have a steadier hand than you do.
DeleteI'm sure it won't be long and many of us won't carry a camera as such - I will though if it's better than the phone.
I have those lilies but they are indoors in my conservatory
ReplyDeleteWe grown them indoors down here too Rosemary, they are so lovely, the Peace Lily.

DeleteI always enjoy visiting botanical gardens and have done so in many countries, including the National Botanic Garden in Canberra. They are interesting and educational in their own right, to say nothing of beautiful, but they also harbour lots of birds.
ReplyDeleteBirds a plenty for sure David, we saw heaps...
