It's difficult to choose the photos to show of the lovely sunsets at Broome. If there is cloud, the sunset is more dramatic. We went several times driving onto the beach and along the beach at Broome in WA.
Several times we went down to the beach Cable Beach to take sunset photos.
Oh M it is absolutely stunning. I can see your trip is going well. I must say I am a bit envious:) HUGS xo G
ReplyDeleteThank you. We are enjoying. Hugs M xoxox
DeleteVery lovely, Janice. I enjoyed the sunsets, for sure, but the first picture of the beach is very artsy!
ReplyDeleteThanks. Yes the first one is artsy, I like to do something different from time to time..

Makes for a dramatic sunset Filip...
DeleteWow, wow and wow.
ReplyDeleteSo very beautiful.
Thanks...and nature at its best..
DeleteThe sunsets are really magnificent, certainly an attraction for the tourists to Broome
ReplyDeleteand one of the main reasons to visit.
I am surprised at the number of what appears to be rocks on the beach. I think I read somewhere
it has something to do with the tidal ridge /ledge or whatever the geological term is - a sand and rocky
outcrop.
The Indian Ocean coastline has great variances in tidal levels and tides do come and go rather
fast.
I suppose the "locals" of Broome are rather blase regarding their sunsets - like "seen one, seen them all"? But the tourist and resort dollars would more than compensate all that.
I reckon "shanks" at the rate you are travelling will be glad to get back into his paddock.
Cheers
Colin
Wonderful sunsets Colin..
DeleteIn that area where I took the photos from that is about the strength of it as far as rocks go...the rocks are a divider for the nudist beach, plus it's where you drive onto the beach for nudist and beach driving, playing cricket, football, picnics all on the right side of the rocks/stones, facing the Indian Ocean.
Yes, the locals are used to the sunsets as we all would be if we lived there. Many people drive down onto the beach with their wine, beer, nibbles to have whilst watching the sunset as the tourists do similar..also we took our chairs.
Shanks pony is going well today :) thanks..
Wow, that is just spectacular!
ReplyDeleteAh ha Cynthia.
DeleteNow you WILL HAVE to come out and see for yourself!
No excuses now.
Cheers
Colin
