A sunset at Wynard

Wynard is on the northwest coast of Tasmania, it's lovely little town and the hill is called Table Cape. Wynard has a tulip festival in the springtime.  Wynard has a sea view and many times we stayed in the caravan park there for a few days or more at a time.  This time I captured a calm sunset.

It's been cherry time here and we've been to the cherry orchard several times, these cherries are called Van.

  1. Hi Margaret,
What a wonderful sunset you were able to photograph.
Oh, those cherries are delicious! It's winter here and very cold.
    I'm longing for spring.
I wish you a wonderful new week.
    All the best, Irma

    1. Thank you Irma. Cherries are finished at the orchids now for this season. Supermarkets still have them apparently. Keep warm there and I do know the feeling of longing for spring as we do the same in our late winter.

Great sunset - here at Terrigal it is again bloody cold and pouring rain - on and off.
    Summer has deserted this place.

    1. A delicate sunset it sure is of pretty pastel, R. No point in buying too many cherries at once as they all can't be eaten at once.

  11. Fresh cherries are surely one of life’s treats. Here, in season, you can buy them at the farm gate fresh from the trees.

    1. That is good you can buy them at a farmgate, sometimes you can here as well but we prefer to go to one of the orchids.
