These photos are on the West Coast of Tasmania more to the North of the Island of Tasmania. Map below. You just stand there an you hear the sea roar.
Arthurs River Bridge
Not far from Marrawah is this beach and the windfarm is at Bluff Point near Woolnorth a cattle farm.
Bluff Point Wind Farm near Woolnorth a cattle farm. We the public can not go there.
Grazie infinite perché ci mostri sempre dei posti meravigliosi
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome Stefania.
DeleteArthurs River Bridge looks very long. Nice photos of the coast, they look beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThank you. The bridge would be about 200 to 250 meters long, just a guess as can't find it on the internet.
DeleteSo beautiful and those photos are great!
ReplyDeleteThank you Angie.
DeleteHearing the sea roar at Bluff Point - that's quite an experience!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the map; it helps.
It does roar Duta mostly up the north west coast where there is a path or road to the sea, such a wonderful sound. Sometimes I think a map helps a you say.
DeleteBeyond Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteIt sure is EC.
DeleteWhat damn nice photos
ReplyDeleteThanks Jo-Anne.
DeleteI always love the coast. Looks so pretty
ReplyDeleteIt's very different as most coasts are, certainly worth the visit every now and then.
DeleteIt looks very wild and an excellent place for a wind farm, although some would argue the farm spoils the view.
ReplyDeleteYes Andrew, a good place for a windfarm, not many people in that area and in fact no one is permitted there as it's part of Woolnorth the dairy owned by the Chinese.
DeleteA place without tourists, ideal for resting those who like tranquility
ReplyDeleteIt's a long way to go in some peoples eyes to see these views, but some do.
DeleteVery fierce looking sea - sure would have those windfarms working overtime.
ReplyDeleteThey are a necessity of life these days and being out to sea - surely nobody
or political mob can complain?????
Love that TV promotion of "Come down to Tassie for the winter and enjoy the FREEZE !"
Strange how the thought of coffee can make the fellow race into what looks like
freezing water.
Froze here - well my version of freezing yesterday but lovely and sunny
today - I doubt if it is surfing weather but the iceberg mob do venture out!!!
Cheers
Colin
The sea has a mighty roar there and many other places along the west coast Colin. No one complains about the windfarm as it's on the Woolnorth property owned by the Chinese and no one is permitted into there.
DeleteIt's not that cold down here where I am, it's just the though of it!
Don't understand those that go swimming down Hobart way on the shortest day naked.
Se ven bonitas las fotografías, el mar siempre es preciosa. Besos Margaret.
ReplyDeleteYes Teresa, the sea is always beautiful no matter what. Thank you.
DeleteEs un bello lugar. Te mando un beso-
ReplyDeleteIt is lovely there JP. Thank you
DeleteI do love to hear the sea roaring and love watching crashing waves too.
ReplyDeleteIt's good to hear it. I remember when I was about 12 I used to stay in Strahan, and I could hear the sea roar from Ocean Beach. Could sit for hours watching and listening to those waves there in the photo, R.
DeleteIs the sea mainly flat, or do surfers find themselves at home there in some seasons? Only in the top photo does the sea seem very rough.
ReplyDeleteSurfing is done near Marrawah, mentioned in the 3rd photo, no surfing in the 1st photo due to rock, so where it's reasonably safe they do surf the big waves when they happen, Hels. I've seen the sea flatter at times but of course it's known for it's ruggedness.
DeleteWhat beautiful photos of the coast and the sea.
ReplyDeleteGreetings Irma
Thank you Irma.
DeleteEn la primera fotografía, se ve el mar alborotado, de ahí su intenso sonido.
ReplyDeleteQue tengas un buen día.
A lot of rocks there in the first photo, calmer in one place, rough in another.
DeleteI doubt that I will ever visit Australia again, but if I do, it will be to Tasmania exclusively!
ReplyDeleteWell that is lovely to visit exclusively if you do come. The Island is a beautiful place so I'm told.
DeleteThe photos are very beautiful, especially the first one is beautiful to paint, all of them are extraordinary.
ReplyDeleteGreetings
The 1st photo is magic with the waves beating up against the rock and stone. By all means if you wish to paint that scene it's up to you 😊
DeleteVery beautiful view.
ReplyDeleteThank you Anne.
DeleteSchön die Bilder vom Meer. Windräder sind bei uns normal in jeder Richtung sind welche zu sehen.
ReplyDeleteGruß
Noke
Really about the wind turbine! Here people don't care to look at them, plus the humming noise they make annoy the people apparently.
DeleteI've always liked the sound of the sea, be it rough or calm.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your photographs.
All the best Jan
Thank you Jan. There is just something pleasant about the noise.
DeleteI certainly would love to stand in that spot and hear the sea roar. Spectacular scenery Margaret, and thank you for the map also. I thoroughly enjoyed your header image and those sweet children at the bottom of the page. Thanks for the share, I once again leave smiling.
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome Denise. The children are ever so sweet, couldn't resist putting them there.
DeleteAnother gorgeous place! Wonderful...
