Rum Balls

Home once again after 1 month away, be home for about 1 month then off again for a couple of weeks depending on the weather, so away for Easter.

I do hope you are well and safe.  Trying times in the world at the moment.

Will do posts until we go away just before Easter...so before Christmas made some Rum Balls, Frangelico Balls and after Christmas I made them all again and made some with Tia Maria, seems the family really love them.  They are very easy to make, crushed packet of plain biscuits, coconut, condensed milk, coco plus the Barcardi Rum or a Liqueur.

  2. Hello Margarita, welcome to our blogs. As you say after the pandemic, the war, what worse could you ask for. But we must continue to sweeten our lives. Surely your petit fours will be delicious, the condensed milk and coconut will give it an excellent texture.

We certainly do sweeten our lives with the Rum Balls but have to watch the weight :)

  3. Здравствуй, Маргарет!
Рада снова сидеть тебя в блоге.
    Спасибо за вкусный рецепт.
А с чем вкуснее получаются эти шарики, с ромом или с ликером?

    1. Thank you. Hope you are doing ok.
I prefer the balls made with Rum, it's really a matter of ones choice as to what taste you like, find that Tia Maria and Frangelico are tasty but not tasty enough and if you add more of these latter two not as nice.

  4. I so admire all your travels, and wonder … where are you off to next!?! We are hoping with our new camper to be on the road soon, too. Your rum balls look very good, and easy. My family loves them at Christmas time.

    1. Didn't find they have a kick Colin. Putting too much rum in them other than what the recipe says makes them taste not as tasty for some reason..
Glad you have sunny days at last..

Oh that is cold for me and I just can't image how cold that actually is. You don't have too long to wait till spring then.
      Take care.

Well it is really terrible what is happening in the world, I hope it doesn't lead to a third world war.

I think we have been to most places in Tasmania, well near enough and it's often repeat visits.
