Tasman Arch down Eaglehawke Neck. Down the southern part of Tasmania, Australia.
On a very rough day it's magic with sea spray.
We visited this area in November 2015
The Tasman Sea, then the Southern Ocean.
This is where the Yachts in the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race go.
Taken from same place but zoomed in a little.
At a beach, a couple being careful.
Way under the sea........
very cool place

ReplyDeleteVery lovely blue Gosia..
DeleteIlike that door, which opens into the rock, as input the sea.

Amazing how that happened hat happened with the arch...just natural.
DeleteVery picturesque as it appears is most of Tasmania.
ReplyDeleteNo doubt after that race down the southern coastline
and across Bass Strait, a relief for the crews of the
yachts to see for the tacking etc up the Derwent River
to Constitution Dock.

By the TV coverage everyone is pleased they made it to land in Hobart..

Happy New Year to you both too...thank you..
DeleteThe arch is dramatic and you look to be quite close to the edge of the cliff - the sea looks as if it has an eye looking back at you!
ReplyDeleteThere is a viewing platform right there so easy to take a photo, and yes, very close..
DeleteThe arch is majestic. Tasmania offers so much to tourists.
ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful and so is the Devil's Kitchen which I didn't post a photo of..
