I thought I would never ever do Lego again after the children stopped doing them but, alas I was wrong. Wintertime just passed had me making a dozen Lego roses and I've placed them in a vase on top of the piano. They look ok from a distance.
We are totally amazed at your skill in creating these roses from Lego. Just putting one brick on top of another is about as creative as we can get with these kind of kits, but your talent is incredible. The end result is pretty and it must attract not only admiration but curiosity about how it all fits together. We believe that Lego are now bringing in motorised kits...have you tried one?
Very nice roses - I've no longer the patience for leggo!!! Old age. Probably could get a part in that sitcom - "Grumpy Old men"
The bushfires are terrible - and summer only just started. God help us. Keep safe and I need you e-mail address again - it disappeared courtesy of Moi!!!
Thank you, Bill. Yes, Lego have sure changed, and I guess they need to, to keep people interested. I remember we had boxes and buckets of Lego about 40 years ago for our children.
Hi Margaret, Wow! I never thought you could even create such a beautiful bouquet of roses with Lego bricks. When I was a child, there weren't any Lego bricks, and I never had the opportunity to play with them again. But the bricks themselves are a wonderful thing; they teach creativity, develop skills, etc. A beautiful bouquet, and it's not just roses... Best regards :)
I was very surprised when I first saw the Lego's made into a bunch of roses, I thought Lego has come a long way. Lego have been around for many years they must not have been available when you were young in your country :)
The roses are very lovely. I have a mini (micro?) set of lego which becomes a Christmas Tree. I've had it for years and simply cannot work out how it goes together and the pieces are so tiny.
Omg your Lego’s are incredible dear Margaret 👍♥️👌 I really felt amazed how they can be turn into gorgeous, stunning roses 🤗 You have done amazing job my very talented friend 🥰♥️
Wonderful Lego idea!
ReplyDeleteI though so too.

DeleteYour Lego roses looks wonderful! They live a very long time.
ReplyDeleteYes they do live a very long time, no water is needed :)
DeleteThey are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteThank you, I thought so too.
DeleteMargaret, they are very beautiful! They also helped to encourage our psychomotor skills, which are necessary at our age.
ReplyDeleteYes that's true Norma, I was told that.
DeleteThanks.

Thank you, Jane, and Lance. No, I haven't ventured into the motorised kits as yet, just the flowers :)

Thank you...you have a good week too.
DeleteProof that creativity blooms again just when you think the season for it has passed.
ReplyDeleteTrue, it's good for we elderly people to make these so I've been told.

All the best Jan
I've always been fascinated with Lego, so many things can be made. Eldest son is like me with Lego.
DeleteThanks Jan.
Bellas rosas, amo lego. Te mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteThank you. Same to you.
DeleteThe rose bouquet looks quite impressive.
ReplyDeleteThanks, I was pleased with them, they looked a lot better than I thought they would.
DeleteOnce again, a delightful post. Leggos have advanced since my kids played with them. Of course, that was 50 years ago.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Bill. Yes, Lego have sure changed, and I guess they need to, to keep people interested. I remember we had boxes and buckets of Lego about 40 years ago for our children.
DeleteThey look really beautiful. Legos have evolved a lot.
ReplyDeleteThank you Anne and yes, so many different things you can make today, it's keeping up with the generations which is good.

Dear Margaret,
ReplyDeleteI've heard of Lego Sidney Opera House or Lego Berlin Brandeburg gate, but not of roses 😀 I like them 🌹
There is a flower collection available to purchase these days, including small cacti. Thank you.
DeleteThere are so many fun Lego sets out now.
ReplyDeleteThere is Mary, some are very expensive too. There are two Tasmanian Devils with a man at the back of them, that would be good to do but it's costly.
DeleteWhat a clever idea Margaret and they look great!
ReplyDeleteThank you Denise, something different to do.
DeleteThe LEGO roses are very, very pretty. I have a LEGO camera that I made. So fun.
ReplyDeleteThat would be a nice camera...
DeleteThank you.

ReplyDeleteOh have you. Did you look online how to do it, as I believe many of the Lego sets instructions are online, but I don't know if your tree is there, R.
DeleteAdorei! Essas rosas estão lindas!
