One Sunday whilst in Huonville we went for a drive around it a big circle or square, some photos of the journey, more later. First photo is the Supermarket area, second an older home in need of repair. All photos were taken as we moved along in the car.
Tassall is a Tasmanian Salmon producer based in Huonville, Tasmania and other areas of Tasmania. This is one of their buildings.
Below, someones shed.
Some scenery from the car as we drove along and Willy Smith's Apple Shed, an Apple Museum.
An apple museum sounds quite interesting.
ReplyDeleteTasmania is known as The Apple Isle among other things, and to have a museum is good to see how apple growing started and grew. Haven't visited it as yet, something to do on another visit to that area Angie.
DeleteEl área del supermercado tiene buenos aparcamientos. Me gusta mucho la casa de la tercera foto.
ReplyDeleteBesos
Much more attractive house is that one and it's kept reasonably well too.
DeleteThere is more parking at the side of the supermarket and mostly it's all nearly full with the cars.
What a delightful drive. You captured photos while moving MUCH better than I ever do.
ReplyDeleteSometimes the photos come out well when moving EC, other times not so good, often miss the subject :)
DeleteQuite a vast supermarket! I rather like the two modest houses.
ReplyDeleteThe supermarket is a chain supermarket and are in the larger towns in Australia.
DeleteIt looks somewhat dry. The second house has a sympathetic side extension but it is a bit spoilt by the porch brickwork. I remember learning at school perhaps the only time Tasmania was ever mentioned, Tasmania grows most of Australia's apples.
ReplyDeleteLots of apples grown down that way and cherries other fruit trees too...and that is why we are known as The Apple Isle.
DeleteSalmon and apple - two of my favourite foods.
ReplyDeleteLots of both down that way.
DeleteWhat a beautiful setting.
ReplyDeleteThe supermarket is very large, much bigger than what we have here.
Greetings Irma
We have larger supermarkets Irma. There is another shop at the end but it's not a large one.
DeleteI like your blog header. Apple museum sounds interesting.
ReplyDeleteGostei destes olhares fotográficos.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e bom fim-de-semana.

Maria we haven't been into the apple museum, next time hopefully.

Thank you.
DeleteHaving moments of free time, especially on Sundays, I also like trips around the area. I have a bicycle so I use it. It is worth visiting such interesting places, you can always see and learn something. Regards.
ReplyDeleteWhat is say is true. We used to ride our bikes years ago when younger.
DeleteI think it would be interesting to visit the apple museum.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Hope to do that Jan in the future.
DeleteLas fotografías están muy bien, a mí también me gusta fotografiar desde el coche, paisajes y nubes. Tus fotos me gustaron mucho. Muchos besos Margaret.
