From the Airwalk at Tahune the view below. The River is the Huon River. The path you see is a long one to a swinging bridge which goes over the Huon River and back to the beginning of one of the walks. The second last photo shows the beginning of those 104 steps and behind it the picnic area.
104 steps!
ReplyDeleteGoodness, that is a lot :)
All the best Jan
Yes it is for someone getting on in age but then younger people were huffing and puffing as well, it's just that we had more stops than they did Jan.
DeleteDefinitely a walk I would love to do, despite the fire damage. I hope that swinging bridge doesn't swing too much though. My sensitive tummy would object.
ReplyDeleteBuenos senderos, para hacer una ruta de senderismo. Son bonitas las vistas de este lugar.
ReplyDeleteBesos
Be lovely right in the bush where the fired didn't get.
DeleteBloody great photos and a bloody lot of steps
ReplyDeleteOh yes Jo-Anne, lots of steps with landings every now and then.
DeleteNice bridge, and a welcoming picnic area reached after 104 steps!
ReplyDeleteYes, good place to have a cup of tea or coffee from a thermos.
DeleteI would LOVE to do that walk! Bet you enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteWe did enjoy it Cynthia and surprised that we made it fairly easily.
DeleteThis must have been an amazing walk. Thanks Margaret, fun to see those bridges so high off the ground.
ReplyDeleteIt's certainly different Denise.

Thank you.
DeleteThe landings are there so that you can take a break once in a while, which I am sure you did, and then the climb is no problem.
ReplyDeleteLots of breaks looking at the view David, also puffed out.
