Eldest

The eldest son R, his wife K and two children our grandchildren now 12 is E, 10 is Z.  Here they are off to Queensland for a holiday staying in Brisbane, then the Sunshine Coast, then down to the Gold Coast all in Queensland.  This photos was taken at the Launceston Airport at Evandale recently.

Since their return back home my husband and I decided to change the front garden, so son and a couple of his staff members pulled the old garden out and planted a new one.
This son pictured owns his own business and is a Landscape Gardener employing up to 10 people.

The new garden bed out the front with a border of dwarf Nandina's.
Son R is also a Soccer Coach of two junior football teams both winning their matches on May 4, 2024.

    1. I removed my comment because I mistakenly thought that the photo of the football coach was your other son, but then realised it was another photo of your eldest son.
It was handy for you both that he is a landscape gardener who was able to redesign your front garden for you. Could you may be show it again when it has matured?

    2. Ok Rosemary. Yes it's very handy to have him that profession, his father my husband was a Nurseryman and Horticulturalist before retirement. Eldest son followed in the same field.
Yes, I will post photo and close up ones of the plants when they grow along with the names of the plants.

  2. Very nice to have your son make your garden!
I love that your gardens don't have fences!
I think people bond better that way, unless there are issues!

    1. Understand you.
Yes we are lucky he and his staff came to do the garden.
Many gardens or the front of the houses don't have fences, then there are many who do, it's just choice.

  15. Hello Margaret
You have an extremely talented and very hard-working son. Sometimes it's worth changing the environment around your home. So that it will be new again and make us happy. Sometimes you don't need much, just a little idea and work, and that's what we'll enjoy for the next few months.
Greetings to you, your son and grandchildren and to everyone in general :))
