A view from Windermere down the Tamar River. We have the East Tamar and the West Tamar, Windermere is on the eastern side so the photos are looking to the western side and down the river towards Launceston, Tasmania.
I like both photos, very similar.
Looking across to Rosevears Hotel and the rooms that look over the Tamar River.
The views are absolutely beautiful. That hotel must be popular for the people who want a nice view when they are in the area.
ReplyDeleteThe Hotel has good meals so I'm told. Don't know how the rooms are but they are not that old, and they look inviting.
DeleteQue preciosidad Margaret. Una serie bellísima .Gracias .
ReplyDeleteBuena semana.
Un abrazo.
Thank you Laura.
DeleteFotografias de uma grande beleza.

ReplyDeleteThanks was lovely standing there watching the evening colours.
DeleteLooks so lovely indeed
ReplyDeleteThank Jo-Anne, it's nice there.
DeleteBeautiful scenery! Always love the combination of boats on the water. Splendid photos Margaret!
ReplyDeleteThank you, there is just something lovely about boats and water reflections.
DeleteBeautiful photographs, lovely views.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Thank you Jan.
DeleteI would sit in the hotel room overlooking the river each morning, sipping an espresso and getting all my mail done. Retirement is not all bad news :)
ReplyDeleteRetirement is often a good time if all is well.
DeleteMy parents had a house over looking the sea and land, great view. I inherited that house but sold it as it was in another city....marvellous there.
The sky mirror view is epic!
ReplyDeleteWas pleased with that one, I'm not always about when the sun is setting, well I'm about but not in the right place..lol
DeleteUna serie de imagenes que nos brindan bonitas escenas.
ReplyDeleteUn saludo, amiga
Thank you and you are right.
DeleteThey are both excellent images, but they tell different stories.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteWhat beautiful photos.
ReplyDeleteNice to stay in that hotel with that view of the river.
Greetings Irma
Would be nice even though it's not that far from home.
DeleteYour seaside photos are always so calming. My Ex Sis in Law and husband have been touring Tasmania rather extensively. Yesterday they were in Strahan and took a Gordon River cruise.
ReplyDeleteThank Andrew. Hope the day was pleasant as in weather for your Ex sis in Law and her husband.
DeleteThis place would be shining in the early morning.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure it would be wonderful, but way too early for me :)
DeleteAnd if I am not mistaken, not far from home for you.
ReplyDeleteYou are correct, not that far from home, a nice drive and picturesque as well if one takes the right roads.
DeleteVery beautiful view.
ReplyDeleteCertainly agree with you Anne.
DeleteIncredible landscapes!
ReplyDeleteFantastic photos!!!
Thank you Maria.
DeleteHello Margaret
ReplyDeleteI also like these photos very much, this tiny boat against the blue background at the bottom and at the top looks great. And these brown colors also look great in the next photos. You present us another beautiful corner. As you well know, I like such views and landscapes, and I always like to capture them in photos.
Kind regards :)
Yes I do know you do like to capture similar photos and you do it well, I always enjoy your photos.
DeleteLovely. Makes me want to go fishing. :)
ReplyDeleteWell people do fish in the Tamar River, also go on boat rides, we used to water ski on the river when younger.
DeleteFavolose queste fotografie, un luogo veramente meraviglioso
