Hawley

After Squeaking Point we headed around the corner to Hawley Beach.  When our children were little we spent some time here staying in a house during the school holidays in summer.
Across from here you can see Bakers Beach back a few posts.

    1. Yes it is lichen David. Not as much at Hawley as there is at the Bay of Fires down the east coast.

  3. I think that you have showed that rusty coloured lichen on the rocks before - it is very dramatic.
Your new phone camera takes great photos.

  6. I love rocky beaches. They're so much more interesting than just a stretch of sand.

    1. Even when the tides in it never covers the rocks. Reasonably sheltered in that area.

The sons learnt to ride their bikes on that beach when they were little, ever so long ago.

    1. Thanks Marco, always nice to have a rock or two at the beach, breaks the monotony of all sand.
