Agnus Water, Queensland

We made a booking at the Caravan Park at Agnus Water which is very popular, we were lucky, just one night! not another single night free, the caravans were packed in like sardines.
Agnus Water is just a stones throw from 1770.

The beach is beautiful with sand ever so soft on the feet.

The Office as you come in the gate and our caravan parked on half sand, half dirt.

Accommodation above, and part of the beach below.

A street above and below gateway to a house.

  1. Caravans packed in like sardines............now that doesn’t sound very appealing.

Well there were with just enough room for a little bit of privacy.
Popular places in Winter are like that though.

    1. I don't think that many people went to lay on the beach, probably only for a short time if not a windy day.

PS: Lovely soaking rain here - 2 days now.........and pretty much state wide.
I should think the farming community are jumping hoops!

    1. Yes and no regarding the Nomads, lots of young ones there too.
We had a rain but it was very light for a couple of days, other areas it was heavier.

    1. The warmth of winter in northern Australia is one of the reasons people go there to escape the cool months.

  9. That's a very nice driveway to that house, I like the symmetry of the plantings.

  10. How relaxing it would be to go to sleep listening to the surf in one of those beach cottages!

    1. We could hear the surf and sea where we were as the caravan was only a few steps from the beach.

  15. A beautiful part of QLD but aren't there stingers in the ocean, like deadly ones.?
