That to me is unusual. Circuses are very different today in Australia than they once were. The circus was always coming to the towns for there were signs up.
We very rarely see circuses now. Love the pineapple box. These days they are often sold without the greenery here - which I resent. I always 'pulled a leaf' to check for ripeness. And my partner's mother succeeded in growing a new pineapply from the top of an old one.
Airlie Beach marina sure is big. Plenty of yachts and ocean going cruisers there for the Whitsunday regions - the islands. The money tied up at that marina would be mind boogling!!! Nice to see that the circus has come to town - eh? Cheers Colin PS: Tennis (Hopman Cup) has taken over in my residence - awake until 1.00 am + with the Perth Night matches due to no daylight saving time in WA!
We didn't buy one for they were not ripe enough plus it's where to put it in the caravan. The shop was a fruit and veggie one all there produces was good.
Shopping complex are the same everywhere, but I wonder how different are the pineapples!
ReplyDeleteA pineapple is a pineapple with different varieties tasting a little different.
DeleteI've never seen pineapple stored like that. When I worked produce, ours would come in short flat boxes of about 3-4 of them.
ReplyDeleteReally!
DeleteUp there where I took the photo pineapples are grown in and around that area.
Olá, lindos registos bem captados, imagino que Airlie Beach é maravilhoso.
ReplyDeleteBom ano,
AG
Seems a nice place Airlie Beach, however I wasn't wrapped in the beach itself it's rather small, no where to park to take a decent photo of it either.
DeleteIt's interesting that you cam across a circus tent. I don't know of any circuses still in existence in North America.

ReplyDeleteWell that was a clever beginning for the pineapple. There was also a box there with without the tops on, so one could choose either.

So many marinas up north are full of expensive boats of all kinds.
DeleteAlso been watching the Hopman Cup but not until 1am though.
I bet the pineapples were nice. They are so nicely presented.
