White Beach, Tasmania

White Beach is about 10 minutes drive from Port Arthur, it's a sheltered beach and popular with locals and visitors.
Fishing is popular, fish to be caught, Calamari, Tasmanian salmon, sand flathead, whiting, flounder and mackerel.  The beach doesn't appear to be very wide but did notice it wider in another place.

    1. I don't think I've seen a dirty beach on the Island ever, only different colours or white sand.

    1. Oh gosh, that is a BIG comment, I'm sure there are several places on this earth that are equally beautiful. However, Tasmania has so many lovely areas within the Island.

    1. No Hotel in that direct area but there are Beach Houses or Cottages, Hotel at Port Arthur not far away. There would be other accommodation as well in White Beach.

    1. Thank you Duta. I'm usually sound asleep at sunrise and cooking dinner or chatting to someone so hence I don't often get to drive to the beach areas to catch those times...so during the day photos are taken when travelling.
