Royal Park or City Park in Launceston, Tasmania is on the edge of our city. It contains a monkey park which has not long been redone, must wander down to have a look soon. The trees, most are very old and deciduous.
Queen's Jubilee Drinking Fountain (1887/1897) above, below the conservatory and below that is the old caretakers cottage which is now used as a Radio Station called City Park Radio.
Красивый парк, Маргарет! За ним ухаживают, чистота и порядок. Здесь можно отдыхать с удовольствием!
ReplyDeleteYes a lovely place to sit and rest. There os a play area for the children at the other end of the park.
DeleteThis seems to be a great park.
ReplyDeleteIt is lovely to walk through Catarina.

ReplyDeleteThe beautiful park is on the edge of the city. That's interesting, as all the best things in my hometown are on the edge of the town, just like my favorite supermarket. for example.
The supermarket I prefer is also on the edge of the city, just down the road from home here.
DeleteThe park is absolutely beautiful. Nice photos!
ReplyDeleteThank you Bill. Nice place for a stroll.
DeleteA very beautiful park that, surely, expands oxygen to the entire area
ReplyDeleteThat is very true about the oxygen.
DeleteWhat a beautiful park! I would love to take a walk there daily :-)
ReplyDeleteThere are a few walking paths there in total a block. Then how big is a block, this park would be a small block in my opinion.
DeleteHay que tener un poco cuidado con los monos. En Gibraltar están acostumbrado a arrebatarles de las manos, los objetos que llevan. Algunos hasta han perdido sus cámaras fotográficos, por un pequeño descuido.
ReplyDeleteBesos
Oh yes I'm told that. Our monkeys in rhe Park are behind heavy glass and locked away at night. They don't roam around, they were a gift from Japan some years ago I believe.
DeleteIt is a most lovely park and almost in the heart of the city. I highly recommend a visit.
ReplyDeleteThanks Andrew, it certainly is well looked after.
DeleteYou do visit some beautiful areas...and lucky for the rest of us...we are the fortunate recipients. :)

ReplyDeleteThe park is amazing. Thank you for sunny photos.
Lovely to meet you too.
DeleteSummer here in December, it’s remembering for me that it’s winter and snow season for you. We have a sunny warm to hot Christmas.

ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely cottage.
DeleteBellissimo parco ben curato, un posto dove poter passeggiare e respirare aria pulita, ciao Margheret e buona settimana, un abbraccio Angelo.
ReplyDeleteLovely fresh air walking in the park. We do get a little smog in winter as the city is in a valley..these days there are not as many open fires in housed so that reduces the smog in winter.
DeleteWhat a nice park, it is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThanks Nob. Probably designed by an Englishman and Irishman.
DeleteУютно в парке. Хочется погулять по аллейкам.
