From Temora NSW we headed in Winter 2019 to Wodonga in Victoria, you just keep driving through the border, there is a small sign when coming into Victoria that says, Welcome to Victoria, if you blinked you would miss the sign.
It's about a 2 hour 40 minute drive which is just a nice drive for the day.
We headed to a different Caravan Park in Wodonga where we stayed the very first time we came to Wodonga some years prior, the caravan was nice and had different managers.
It was washing day, even though clothesline were provided near the laundry I preferred to do my washing in my washing machine in the caravan and my husband put the clothes line up under the awning.
There are 3 photos of the caravan park.
Went for a drive to Albury which is in NSW just over the border from Wodonga in Victoria, the two towns are called Twin Cities.
Photos from inside the vehicles to show the beautiful trees in Albury NSW.
Being away from home does not mean "being away" from domestic duties. : ))
ReplyDeleteThat is true, house work never goes.
DeleteVery enjoyable to see your part of the world Margaret. I have very happy memories of our holidays in caravan parks. The one you shared is lovely and thank you for the map, I always love to see where places are.
ReplyDeleteAlways good to have nice memories of past times.
DeleteOften put a map for those that don't know where I was only holiday, so then they can relate to a major city via the map.
What a beautiful area you found. I love the trees, they offer lots of shade in your hot weather season.
ReplyDeleteIt was rather warm there from memory for a few days that we were there, the trees were good and we was parked under some branches, it's good they check the trees and branches so it's relatively safe.
DeleteHello Margaret,
ReplyDeleteWonderful to see the stop on this place. Great with the lines of trees along the way.
And of course a wash day must also be done.
Warm regards,
Marco
Always washing Marco, every couple of days I would wash whilst travelling.
DeleteThese days I mostly hear the twin cities spoken of as Albury/Wondonga rather than given their individual names.
ReplyDeleteThat caravan park looks good.
The domestic duties thing comes along for the trip doesn't it?
Yes, most people say Albury/Wondonga but then we have to explain which city we are staying in, comes easy as you get used to it.
DeleteAlways washing and cleaning to do, not matter what.
El tiempo coampaña, para que se seque la ropa. Al tenderla en ese lugar, la tienes más cerca para recogerla.
ReplyDeleteBesos
Don't have to walk very far at all when hung underneath the awning.
DeleteI do have a small clothes line that goes into the ground if I have a heap of washing.
The caravan park looks neat.
ReplyDeleteThe hanging clothes offer a touch of home, sweet home.
Yes, home sweet home and it's washing and cleaning, it certainly does feel more at home when having to do those things.
DeleteThe trees are nice. I am just wondering if they have dropped the fruit check and confiscation at the border?
ReplyDeleteNo, we never see a fruit check, a bin or anything the way we go, of course you do if going west.
DeleteWe never really get a break from daily chores that come with life
ReplyDeleteNo we don't Jo-Anne, even if we stay at Motels there is always personal washing to be done.
DeleteI think it is mostly referred to by the twin names.
ReplyDeleteIt also has a large army training base - I believe recruits start off at the
one at Wagga and then depending what arm of the army, they go to various other
training locations. I think the Wodonga one is the transport arm??????
Great photos as always Margaret
Colin
The cities are Colin referred to by their names with Albury being first in line.
DeleteWasn't aware there was army training there, knowing me I could have seen it and not taken any notice.
Thanks.
Curiosity got the best of me. It is the logistics base.

Images are delightful
There are many things we might miss in a blink of the eye Baili :)
DeleteThanks Agnieszka.
ReplyDeleteFunny how laundry comes around so regularly isn't it?
ReplyDeleteOh is sure does, can be done as often as you wish but it never goes away.
DeleteA lovely lush caravan park. We have missed small signs even with our eyes opened.
ReplyDeleteAnother thing about signs is when a truck is in the way then you don't see the sign at all.
DeleteBeautiful caravan park Margaret.
ReplyDeleteYes Bob is certainly was or is a beauty.
Deletecaravan park is lovely.Take care Margaret
ReplyDeleteThanks Gosia.
DeleteThanks Margaret for the great photos and again somewhere we have passed through but not stayed at. My list is getting longer and hope to get there again one of these days.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you will get there eventually to stay. Certainly worth it and a lot to see and we haven't seen half of it yet.
