Coffs Harbour, New South Wales

We moved onto Coffs Harbour in NSW stayed in the same caravan park and even the same site!
Each day ducks came to visit at the same time for a feed, they would sit themselves down until fed.

What a glorious ride these horses and ponies would have had that day in Winter 2017.

  1. Gorgeous!

I mounted a horse once. In Brazil, for about 5 minutes, enough time for a picture!
    My daughter loves horseback riding.

  2. Doesn't take long for some species of duck to quickly realize that the presence of humans means food.

  4. Si le echas comida, ya te has ganado su amistad. Son preciosos los patos.

Me gustan los bellos paisajes y el segundo es maravilloso.

  5. It looks absolutely glorious. And I love that the ducks have worked out that people can be useful.

  7. The ducks are great and such a clear photo. The partly natural and partly made sea water pool is good.

  8. Coffs has a pretty big race carnival so those horses could be race horses
coming back to stables after a wade in the surf and a gallop on the sand. Leg
    strengthening exercises!
Then maybe could be an equestrian group.
Plenty to do around the Coffs Harbour area and far cheaper than Noosa!!!!!!!
Good report and photos........that beach is sure long.

    1. They probably are race horses as there were in the sea - next post :)
Rather nice at Coffs, a cousin and his wife live there.

  9. Funny how many times ducks know exactly where and when to be fed.

    1. Certainly is a wonderful beach, there is an old jetty which is lovely and a rather nice beach where the jetty is, but it's not easy to walk to for my husband and hard to find a parking place.

  12. Again, glorious photos, Margaret. I've only been to Coffs Harbour once back in the early 80s...and was just passing through...stayed one night only.

What amazed and interested me was what appeared to be the main street filled with little eateries/restaurants, wall to wall, all the way down it towards the water. From memory they appeared to be just on the one side of the street...the street was quite long and was on an incline.

    1. You could ride a horse and just have it trot or canter.
