The second house below is a private one with a sea view. In the town there are some lovely homes many of the shacks have been replaced over time.
One of the main streets in Bicheno.
Log Cabin Store which has everything as many country stores do.
A little wooden church
Beautiful buildings. Love your photos!

DeleteThe houses are beautiful, but I especially love the little white church.
ReplyDeleteThe church is cute and well kept..
DeleteJust beautiful. And I love, and remember the 'everything stores' from when I lived in country NSW.
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing what one finds in those stores..
DeleteMargaret the first and second house similar to ours in Poland. They are lovely but I think expensive
ReplyDeleteOh are they, that's interesting, would be expensive as that house has a sea view..
DeleteBicheno seems to have everything.
ReplyDeleteUltra modern town houses, stately homes, the old fashioned vernandah homes bordering the main
street, the classic "everything" store, the quaint church!!!
I should think it would be a pleasure to visit or live there - except in winter.
I believe like you and Mr. "B"., plans would be afoot for heading over Bass Strait and
north!
Cheers
Colin
PS: Looks like a perfect day here as the sun rises.
Bicheno has most things, things to get one by..it's ok in winter there, except this one because it's colder..
DeleteOh what beautiful homes - I want to live surrounded again by green one day.
ReplyDelete:) well one day you never know..
Deletethe log cabin store looks neat
ReplyDeleteGreat place Adam, so many different things in there to look at and buy.
DeleteI love these pictures, especially the white church.
ReplyDeleteThanks. Church is nice..well kept.
DeleteI would visit Bicheno just because of its unusual name.
ReplyDeleteWell one day you might visit..
DeleteThose houses are beautiful! I think your photos make them look even better than they probably look in reality! We still have some "everything" stores in Oregon. I love them. You never know what you'l find, but it will be something you need.
ReplyDeleteThe houses look good either way....I love store like the one in the photo..
DeleteThese houses look very nice but probably expensive.
ReplyDeleteGreetings,
Filip
Yes they would be a little..but affordable for many.
DeleteSuper cool town!
ReplyDeleteIt's neat and clean.
DeleteIt looks like a lovely little town. I'm liking the first house a lot... it seems to fit into it's landscape really well.
ReplyDeleteI like the first house out of the two, it's my choice on the outside. Haven't a clue what the interior is like..
DeleteI like the country feel to the small town, and the setting.
ReplyDeleteIt's a seaside country town....
