Mt. Barrow Snow!

The trip up Mt. Barrow the other day, some more photos.  The snow only stayed a few days and still there is no more at this stage.


I did the above photo in HDR. The remainder are normal.




I nearly went skating up there :) I wore boots with high heels, but that's me :)



On our decent the cloud came in.

  2. gorgeous photos M, it is really really cold and wet here atm and your pics made me shiver :) we got snow on mt lofty (our highest mountain) which has only happened a few times. so cold. be careful in those boots and stay warm. :)

    1. Funny if we look at snow in our winter how it makes us feel colder.

  7. I've only experienced snow on a handful of occasions so it's always a thrill to see it!! I've also never tried HDR - but your 1st shot is SO awesome I'll have to give it a go!!

    1. HDR is fun, it's wonderful to get the right colours of a scene or object before shooting in HRD.
