Was thinking about the Australian horse Black Caviarand that inspired me to make another graphic, this time of a horse. I resized this after making it first a wallpaper.
This is not Black Caviar. Below is a link to the homepage of the horse.
Thank you for your enquiry, as to my wellbeing, I appreciate your thinking of me so much. My life has been quite different in many ways with the death of my parent who I had been with in the last years of her life. I find it difficult to describe the aimlessness I experienced for some time after this but for each of us there is a season. I returned to nursing and have been full time night duty in high care and dementia and find myself quite tired which is how I wished to be at the time. I lose myself in the photography which I have not followed through ie reproduced what has been captured and which I am about to rectify.
From next week am on six weeks holidays and am equipping the 4x4 and my intention is to drive the Strezlecki across the centre of Australia via Lake Eyre coming from the desert to Alice Springs, turn around travel to Victoria and spend some weeks in the Alps hopefully in the snow. Hotham is using one of my images and won ski passes etc so have to go back. Did a quick trip last August on a rotation off from work, climbed the summit in the dark and was pure magic looking across at Mt. Feathertop, never knew such places existed in Australia.
My youngest brother has purchased a boat moored on one of the rivers in Tasmania, eludes me at the present, which needs a lot of work and when he eventually gets down to Tasmania repairs his boat I will have a base and shall fly down and hopefully finally get to meet you. As my rosters stand at the present as long as they are not changed I get five nights off in sequence each fortnight so will do this in one of the swings off in the spring or summer if I have not spent all my money on fuel traveling in the next few months.
I have caught up on all your posts reading them this morning with the images and joy of your family and do hope the quality of life of your father is up there. I do so enjoy your talent with graphic design. Quite unusual and innovative of you and your husband to embrace business on the internet when you did. I find the internet with all the downside a great leveler of culture and prejudice and brings the world to a better understanding of each other, the good, the bad and the ugly included.
I will get off my soapbox and wish you well and hopefully on my trip will be able to get back into the enjoyment of my site once more. Thank you once more for your interest and kindness.
Jo-Anne, we do live in a great country and I often wonder why there are so many Kiwis living in our country.. It's a lovely photo of the horse, I found it on the net where photos are shared for ones use.
