Hollybank is about 30 minutes from home. I have taken photo's at Hollybank and done posts before and all are different, this time once again they photos are different again.
There is a cricket pitch, barbecue, fireplaces, toilet and tall trees, plenty of bush to go bushwalking, and of course birds.
There is Holly as well, the last photo.
Fungi, never seen any other variety there.

Yes, a tunnel effect for sure and in some places on the way the trees nearly meet from both sides of the road.

ReplyDeleteYes a different colour of fungi, fascinating are mushrooms, and those ones are best left there. When I lived on a farm first 8 years of marriage I often went mushrooming and would cook them for dinner same evening.

Our system is certainly different Colin. Been that way for many years now. Well who knows, both major parties want the Stadium and it wasn't a big issue at the election, though in Franklan it was.

DeleteIt's a pretty area, someplace nice to stop for lunch when out rambling.
ReplyDeleteNo matter what season there it's always pretty R. We've in the past have had picnics there mainly when the children went to primary school, plenty of room to run around.

Liam, we used to go there often when our sons were small, now go at least once a year to take photos and have a little walk, very peaceful there in late autumn, winter and early spring at weekend.
